All worked as expected but 1) was surprised I had to pre-authorize 1500+150 EUR, 2) car choices are a bit limited.Nevertheless, not the first time I am renting with AVIS and I am very happy with it, recommended.

Pratique le service gratuit de remise de clés me permettant de récupérer le véhicule un dimanche matin. Agence arrangeante.Attention à l'option EZ Fuel qui peut être rajoutée sans vous demander votre avis (bien garder le justificatif du plein que vous faites, sinon c'est 20€ de service + le prix de l'essence)

Pas aimable, j ai réservé un vehicule de 9h a 19h, j ai le droit d arriver a 14h! Si je paie la journée complète, et bien non, une petite reflexion dès l'accueil décevante...

The lady at the Calais Avis office was very friendly, efficient and kind and the car was as ordered and in good condition. It did take us a long time to get off the Dover-Calais ferry (as walking passengers), and it took quite a while for the taxi to arrive at the Port to take us the 20 minutes or so to Avis at the train station. This was stressful and we only just arrived in time. We called the office ahead several times to make sure they would be open and the lady was very kind and helpful and luckily for us spoke really good English. She helped us on our way quickly. Thanks Avis Calais.
