Thrifty Rent a Car

La voiture donnée n'était pas nettoyée, l'allume cigare ne fonctionnait pas donc impossible de charger nos téléphones et chauffe biberon pour le bebe, nous avons donc dû nous arrêter à plusieurs reprises pour donner à manger au bébé pour cette raison j'ai rendu la voiture avec 1h de retard. Quelques jours après, je m'aperçois que le loueur prélevé sans me prévenir plus de 100€ sans meme m'en informer alors que la location m'a coûtée 92€. Je trouve que ce n'est vraiment pas correct!

Prix très attractif avec la marque Thrifty. Les voitures sont de qualité et l'équipe très professionnelle. Informations à savoir : on ne peut conduire qu'en France et la caution est plus importante quand on ne prend pas l'assurance sans franchise. Personnellement, je la prend toujours pour éviter les mauvaises surprises.

Absolute scam of a company. I was charged twice for the rental car (once when I paid online, then was charged again when I handed over my debit card for the security deposit hold). The car I was given was completely different than the one I had booked. After seeing the car, I went back to the office to cancel the reservation. Since I hadn’t even used or driven the car, I was told I would receive the security deposit back in 3-5 days. It’s been 45 days, and I haven’t received the $1050.00 deposit back. I’ve tried calling but no one answers the phones. The main company site has zero contract information, no email or phone number. You can only submit “inquiries” after the rental. I’ve received no help through these “inquiry” submissions. This company is a complete scam; they will take more money than you agreed to pay, and they make it so that there is no way to reach them once you notice. It is not worth the cheaper prices, you’re better off renting from a reliable company.

Had pre-booked child seat. First thing when you book child seat it says ‘subject to availability’. A child seat isn’t really an option you legally require one. Also the whole point of booking something is so you have it guaranteed and are not subject to availability, otherwise what’s the point of booking something…. Anyway tried to call day before to confirm child seat would be there but phone number was always engaged. Arrived next day and no child seat. Had to wait over an hour for them to organise.
