Domaine de Capiès

I am my wife where married here. I cannot express enough how wonderful it was working with the owners Will and Tilly who turned our event into a fairy tale. The food was outstanding, the flowers the desert and most of all the facilities downstairs that allowed us to loosen out ties and head down to celebrate into the wee hours. Picture a beautiful autumn day un the archway, Vinyards an the view of the Pyrénées ..saying your vows! Thank you Capiès..For creating a place of wonderful memories..

We had a perfect 5 days in L'Etoile with our 2 year old. Tilly and Will could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The home made pizza on the first night was spectacular (Saturdays and Wednesdays). The rooms are simple but clean and beautiful with really comfortable beds and everything for self catering. Our daughter loved the chickens, pool, cat, and small playground. The location is beautiful and there are nearby market towns, antiques and swimming in rivers and lakes (Puivert and Montbel expecially). We'll be back!

Thanks to a recommendation from Ilonka at The Little Voyager we spent a wonderful week at Domaine de Capiès with our 2 children. The cottage Marin was perfect for us: charming, cosy and equipped with with everything we needed. The property is beautifully renovated and very well taken care of. We really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and meeting the other lovely families staying there at the same time. The pool was a fresh reward after a day of sightseeing in the sun. And the pizzas on our last evening were not only delicious, but a lovely way to say goodbye. There is so much to see and do in the area, for both adults and children! Thank you, Tilly, for being such a great host and Ilonka from The Little Voyager for recommending the property to us. We had a great holiday and hope to be back some day!

Beautiful Gîtes with incredible views! What an amazing space! Beautiful decor, lovely pool. The hosts, Tilly and Will, could not do enough for us. Perfect for a larger group party/wedding but also perfect as a couple or family with self contained Gîtes!

Just perfect: beautifully located property oozing charm and homeliness, owned by genuinely nice people. Great for adults and children alike. Pizza diners are so relaxing: eating out without the hassle of driving! The food is delicous and the honesty bar stacked with quality drinks.

A magical place set amongst the verdant rolling hills of the Aude. Attractive and comfortable apartments with private outer spaces. Enjoy the peace and quiet or take a dip in the pool. Children love the out-of-sight trampoline and we relished the home made pizzas and local blanquette de veaux in the huge and comfortable barn. Tilly and Will are generous and attentive hosts, nothing is too much trouble. We ranged from 4 to 76 and all felt very sad to leave. Thank you Till and Will. We will be back!

This place is amazing!!The gites ,pool and communal areas are all gorgeous.The thought,detail and hard work that has that has gone into Domaine de Capies is obvious from the minute you arrive.Beautiful surroundings and nothing is too much for the incredibly hard working hosts.Everything has been thought of for a luxurious relaxing stay.Highly recommend and will definitely be returning soon.Emma and family

It was a winter's night when I met with friends , for dinner at Domaine de Capies. Google maps made the location from the T Junction from St Benoit, look shorter than it really was. A wonderful reception by the staff and made to feel really welcome. Our table was close to the wood burner, very comfortable and cosy. Food delightful.

Absolute paradise! Such a wonderful place to stay. It really can't be faulted on anything. The gites are stylish, clean and have everything you need. The setting is extraordinary with amazing views that take your breath away. There are relaxing areas in the garden, a beautiful pool and an outdoor bar. What more could you ask for! Local villages offer great markets where you will also find fantastic restaurants and even better wines. Domaine de Capies won't disappoint.
