Laverie Automatique Le Lavoir

Hot and stuffy laundromat and couldn't even dry my clothes after paying for the dryer for 3 times. Ended up carrying the half wet laundry back to my dorm as there were other customers waiting to use the dryers.

COWBOY LAUNDROMAT - DO NOT USE!!This establishment does not care about the upkeep of its machines - in fact, the poor functioning of the machines is probably their business model - stupid tourists like me going around in circles trying to use their barely functional machines and fattening up their pockets.Arrived to a machine which did not properly process the coins - it just spat them back out immediately. I contacted the contact number listed on the side of the machine and got a prompt text back, which was good. Someone came to look at the machine and sorted out the problem. Washing sorted.However, more problems occurred when I tried to dry my clothes. I did not want the clothes to shrink so I selected the lowest setting. The clothes remained cold. I selected the second lowest setting. The clothes remained cold. I selected the third lowest setting. The clothes remained cold. I selected the highest heat setting and finally the drying machine brought forth some semblance of heat. Later, the heater did not heat even at the highest setting (maybe because both heaters were being used - the contact person was just clueless or clueless").I contacted the number again to inform them about the situation and they repeated my advice back to me
