Gite L'Ancienne Gare

Beautifully appointed Gite with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay.Private setting with fabulous pool. Hosts were amazing and nothing was too much trouble.Great location for visiting Eymet and other places of interest to suit all ages and tastes.We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and would highly recommend.

We stayed at Gite L’Ancienne Gare from October to the end of January whilst we were renovating our house. The gite is absolutely brilliant with everything so fresh and clean. There is all you could wish for when you are staying in a gite i.e fully equipped kitchen, towels, bedding etc and the fact it has a washing machine was an added bonus. Parking is no issue at all which is sometimes a problem with a lot of gites. The gite is less than a 10 minute drive to the town of Eymet and even less to Miramont de Guyenne both of which have lots of shops, cafés, restaurants and also 3 or 4 supermarkets to choose from.Jennifer and Martin are superb hosts. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them but to be honest we never really had any issues that we needed to bother them with. There was a lovely welcome basket upon our arrival which was a lovely surprise. The outside has a pool area but unfortunately the time of year we were there it wasn’t pool weather but it would be a great place to sit in during the warmer months.We can’t recommend the gite highly enough and would have no hesitation in staying again if the need arose.Thank you Jennifer and Martin for an excellent stay!
