On a scale of cotton candy to Brussels sprouts, Aerial Azur retreat in Tulum, Mexico, is an international buffet of deliciousness.Tulum was a new location for Aerial Azur, and Hanne and Gianni worked hard to create a great experience for the aerialists with excursions, accommodations, personal chef, beach photo shoot, and hours of aerial training.This retreat was everything and more!I loved that we trained for 3 hours most days on strength progressions and tricks as well as dynamic and momentum movements. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but I also found it hugely satisfying.Hanne and Gianni create an amazing retreat experience with room for deviating from the schedule to prioritize your own desires as well. I know a few people scheduled other activities during excursions. I like that we had a framework for the experience, and we still maintained the right to make different decisions.If you join a future Tulum retreat, be sure to bring your electrolytes and hydrate more than you think is necessary. Don't forget your bug spray or sunscreen -- nothing is worse that sun burn AND silk burn.Thank you to Hanne and Gianni for this retreat!

This company has unsafe rigging practices that caused someone to be injured at their last retreat Sept 3-10. Following the accident, the Owner Hanne did not take any accountability and lied about the severity of the incident. This company does not follow industry standard practices for safety and should be shut down! Do not give them your money as they don't know what they're doing.

I did the artistic aerial retreat at the end of September this year and I cannot say enough good things about it.Hanne & Giani were so warm and welcoming. Hanne teaches in a way that is so accessible. I'm not big into dynamics but wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone and she made so much feel so attainable for me. Working with Justine, I feel like I will be bringing so much more to all of my performances in the future. What she taught for artists is invaluable. And the music that Giani composed for feels like he crawled into my spotify playlists and made something perfect for me.This combined with some incredible supportive and fun attendees made for an unforgettable experience. Can't wait to do it again!

What a wonderful experience with Hanne and Gianni. Amazing dynamic aerial silks training! As well they arranged wonderful days on the boat doing aerial silks for the best photos I have ever taken. Food was delicious and fresh, the French Riveria was wonderful. Met amazing other aerialists and learned from them as well.. Could not recommend this retreat enough for any aerialist to improve and really enjoy their practice. Aerial Azur made this experience one I will remember forever!

This was certainly the trip of a lifetime in that I reminisce about it at least twice every week! The silk skills we learned were all new to me except windmill (although I had to learn a new method that I now love!) and Hanne broke down the tricks comprehensively. Many of the tricks are strength/momentum based which is why I signed up! Hanne will tie together these AWESOME tricks to show you how to flow with them. I found it very unique, exciting and encouraging to learn this style as I am not a flexible or dance type person. I absolutely loved all the tricks and want to return to learn more new tricks and master these! The boat days were absolutely incredible stacked with unparalleled fun and badassery! There were no issues getting enough time on the silks on the boat. Even when you get tired you can go for a swim, snorkel, or float on the paddle board.What made it so special and unforgettable was how wonderful Hanne & Giani, and all the other incredible people I met on the trip were. Everyone had something to teach and was so welcoming and supportive. The outings allowed us to not only explore the beautiful French Riviera, but also to get to know one another better. So many laughs!!!! I definitely have lifelong friends from this retreat.On the accomodations, the house was very comfortable. It was like sleepover with all your new best friends in a simple country villa! The food was delicious & the supply of glorious fresh bread and cheese will make you think you're in heaven!!Thanks again for this unforgettable experience!!!!!

My retreat with Aerial Azur was the trip of a lifetime. Hanne and Giani were so thoughtful with the programming. I made friends for life all across the globe and got to explore a new, beautiful country while maintaining my aerial skills. Not only was the experience exploring Nice and the surrounding area incredible, we also received expert aerials training the entire week. I improved so much with my skills and became so much more confident in the air. The sailing experience was something I will treasure and look back on for years. I will absolutely be returning.

Amazing week with the Aerial Azur team during the Sailing Retreat! Thank you for taking care of us. It was truly an unforgettable experience, Hanne & Gianni really do their best to ensure everyone has a good time. The schedule is flexible to accommodate the weather (and the sea), and the training is also adapted based on skills and energy levels so that everyone can learn what they can. Totally worth it :)

It was a really WONDERFUL experience!!! We had training every day, activities to know each other, visit new places (beach, city, ...) ...Every single day was different!I've never done dynamics before and Hannah helped us a lot to have a good technique, teaches very clear and she has no problem to help hundred of times if someone has any difficulty. Moreover, she is so close and attentive with everyone.The activities with Gianni were so FUNNY too! He is very outgoing and that makes you feel more confortable in every activity.The food was really good and the service was excellent too.And... There's nothing to say about the amazing people I met during that week.If you are a silks lover, I recommend you to have this experience with them! You won't regret It!

Hanne and Giani hosted an incredible, well organized Aerial Trip! I just got back from their first ever trip in Tulum Mexico, and I cannot wait to sign up for another one of their trips. They had a wonderful balance of daily Aerial classes and excursions to explore the area. They hired an incredible private chef that catered to all dietary restrictions and provided us with clean, delicious meals. Hanne did a great job catering to all skills levels and made sure each of us accomplished multiple new moves. Go sign up for their next retreat!

Aerial Azur provided my first ever retreat and this was their first retreat all the way in Tulum. It’s hard to believe this was the first time arranging such a week in a foreign country, everything was carefully considered, from a gorgeous studio by the beach, to a personal chef catering for all dietary restrictions, activities to discover and learn more about locals and their culture, an eco hotel as our base, a gorgeous photoshoot on the beach etc.Classes with Hanne exceeded my expectations, I had never attempted dynamics before and so few like I have unlocked a new level to a new world. She adaptares moves and tips for everyone’s levels and set us up to carry on our training on these moves at home.This was my first ever retreat of any kind and I couldn’t be happier, would go back in a heartbeat!
