J'ai déménagé, mais je retrouve mon ancienne laverie avec un bonheur sans mélange ! Tout est propre, tout fonctionne. .. Le déplacement vaut largement la peine !

This review is geared for English-speaking/American travelers. It is your basic self-serve laundromat. It’s not particularly big compared to American laundromats (both the size of the laundromat and also the washing machines themselves), but there were plenty of machines open when we went at around 7 PM on a Sunday. It’s bright inside, with a few seats. It’s also next to shops and eateries, so it was nice that it didn’t feel empty outside. There is a sign that says to stay with your clothes (in case of theft), so just a FYI. There are English instructions on the wall on how to wash/dry, and there are English instructions on how to use the pay machine (I missed the part about how to buy laundry detergent. Luckily there were locals there who were able to explain). Some tips:- have coins ready because the bill change machine wasn’t working for us (we had to run back to our hotel who luckily exchanged our bills for coins)- You can buy detergent there - if you need it, buy that first. You need to go to the pay machine and type in “45” as the “machine number” (which is 1 euro). If you want fabric softener, type in “50” - we didn’t buy that, so I forgot how much that cost. Once paid, they will be dispensed from the center machine (the detergent comes as two tablets in plastic packaging; not sure about the fabric softener)- Each washer and dryer is labeled with a number, and you’ll enter that in at the pay machine. Just an FYI that once you pay, the machines start automatically (so make sure detergent /clothes are loaded, and you have the right machine #)- there is a diagram on the wall about the different compartments for detergent for the washing machines (detergent, pre-wash (?), bleach, and fabric softener)- locals recommended using the 30 - 40 degree setting (colder temp for delicates)- as of October 2023, one wash in the white machines was 4 euros (I think there were bigger washers, but I don’t know that cost).- Dryers are in 10 minute increments and it was 1.20 euro for every 10 minutes (each time you want to add more time, type in the dryer # and pay and it will automatically add more time)

I hate to give a bad review but I fear for all the tourists coming to the area who will really struggle to decifer the complex puzzle that is Lav, Club. Sadly, the place is super local, big, reasonably priced and clean. But the machine, number 16 washer ended up taking 3 lots of 4€ in order to actually get an effective wash and the number on the wall failed to take a call when I was having trouble. The note machine refused to take a 10€ note.. Why? Meant I had the privilege of walking to the local shop and breaking the note into coins. I even managed to get a couple of locals to attempt to help but not even 3 of us could sort it out..I was frustrated, disappointed and ripped off. There's another landraumat only a block away use that instead.
