Barry Watton s’occupe de l’entretien régulier de notre jardin (tonte du gazon, taille d’arbustes et de notre grande haie de buis, entretien du buis contre la pyrale…) depuis mai 2019. Il a également conçu et planté avec goût et attention un massif de fleurs et d’herbes, et ainsi transformé et embelli l’entrée de notre jardin.Nous apprécions Barry pour son sérieux, sa fiabilité et la qualité de son travail. We inherited a large garden that was totally overgrown. We wanted a mediterranean garden and Barry designed a wonderful plan which included landscaping, paving, pergola and a planting scheme. We agreed a budget which he did not exceed.While he was constructing the garden he stuck to his plan meticulously. Work began in winter 22/23 and Barry built the hard landscaping and planted the beds with grasses and draught tolerant flowers. A little reluctantly the new plants grew in our rather poor ground. Some of them did not make it but by June the plants started to thrive and the flowers enriched the environment with their different colours. A real pleasure to the eye! We particularly enjoy dining under the pergola with its sturdy oak post which will eventually be entwined with jasmine. We received detailed information about how to water the plants over spring and summer. Barry is reliable and regularly returns to keep the weeds under control and to give us further advice. Our mediterranean garden designed by Barry is beautiful and flourishing.

Barry is working on our front and back garden since one year and has designed a low-maintenance naturalistic-style garden on a plot of more than one hectare. He elaborated beautifully and in detail the garden concept, including the selection and location of various plants, flowers, bushes, trees and potager, as well as paths and sitting areas. A great advantage of Barry’s services is that together with his associates he is also executing the works, including procurement of various plants and other materials at a competitive price. Barry is a very reliable professional, always responsive, adapting the design to our wishes and strives for the best quality possible. He regularly follows up on the gardens progress and provides hands-on advice how to maintain it. We highly recommend him for similar works and projects.

Barry has been working on our garden regularly over the last few years and has made a huge difference, turning what had become an unmanageable, overgrown mess into a tidier, lower-maintenance garden where plants have space to breathe. He has done many aspects of garden work, including pruning and training a very wild wisteria, roses & other plants. Barry is always reliable, responsive, friendly and professional. Barry completely redesigned our plain, lawn garden in Bristol. He came up with a completely new design, prepared it all and then planted it all up. Several years on, and people were always amazed when they walked into the garden... you felt as though you were in the South of France!
