Cute and lovely apartment in English bed & breakfast / tearoom style that has been perfectly executed but for a few deviations and unexpected surprises (such as a multi-colour LED-illuminated showerhead). Conveniently located within close proximity of such sights as the cathedral, city hall, indoor market, Temple Neuf, old town (including the Saint-Louis square), and just around the corner from the Cour d'Or museum, the hotel is excellently positioned for an exploration of the city, as well as a comfortable retreat for the night (when the kitchen windows moreover provide a nice view of the illuminated town). Although not strictly necessary, as the apartment sports a fully stocked and working kitchen, the hotel is also located at walking distance from restaurants and supermarkets. Although the train station is about a half-hour's walk away, the route takes you through the older and more charming parts of town and, unless heavily loaded with luggage, is a distance easily traversed. Lastly, the friendly and forthcoming nature of the host - who speaks both English and French and is more than willing to help you find your way in town after first arrival - makes the whole experience of staying at Chic En Ville a pleasant and care-free experience I can certainly recommend.
