J'y suis allé plusieurs fois pour y déjeuner. L'accueil est toujours agréable grâce à de jeunes serveurs. Les prix pratiqués sont ceux des restaurants du quartier: disons que les prix des plats sont plutôt élevés. La carte est plutôt variée avec de nouveaux plats proposés quotidiennement. J'ai le sentiment que ce n'est pas toujours de qualité constante. Aujourd'hui, une brandade légère au pesto: aucun intérêt tant le goût du pesto était tellement dominant dans l'assiette. et le dessert du jour

Sincèrement c'est une escroquerie on choisis une table ou on ne peux pas s'asseoir on se retrouve sur la conduite des toilettes. Le plat est sans accompagnement aucun en moyenne a 30€. Et pour finir les plats sont servi par le cuisinier en personne

This is an exceptional place to eat a special meal. Delicious carpaccio tomates and delicate, constructed dishes for the mains. Service is typically Paris - speak French, whatever you can, and smile. You’ll get the best service you could ask for.Don’t pay attention to reviews that compare it to a decade ago - it was an entirely different establishment then. Their expectations would’ve been different, too.Update: we’ve now visited in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. Every time a winner.

Good food - the rest was a disaster.Terrible experience. Haven’t had such a bad service for last many years.Two young waiters were doing NOTHING at all time, cleaning the tables and eating the leftovers after the guests. Everyone was chewing something at all time.Had to rase my hand every single time I wanted something. Twice, three times sometimes. Wrongly taken orders with an excuse that they don’t speak English?! We were their guests, but felt EXTREMELY UNWELCOMED.Disgraceful for hospitality industry

We went here as a final stop to our vacation in Paris and was not disappointed. Great atmosphere and great service of traditional cuisine. Prepare for a wait if you’re looking to dine later in the evening.

Alors j’ai peut être eu de la chance, mais c’était une belle surprise que ce dîner d’un soir de juillet .Les plats principaux sont en majorité à bien moins de 30 euros . C’est élevé certains diront , et pourtant très courant dans le quartier voir largement plus mais ,J’ai trouvé la cuisine très bonne et donc les tarifs justifiés . Ce thon snacké mi-cuit dans sa nage de pesto et petits légumes : fabuleux. crème caramel de haut niveau et perles du Japon très délicat .Évidemment les vins frappent fort avec un premier flacon en blanc à 38 euros , un vulgaire Reuilly on aurait pu dire et pourtant il se défendait bien .Belle expérience d’une adresse qui n’aura pas succombé entièrement à la facilité face à l’abondance des touristes .Merci

When I found out it was Anthony Bourdain”s favorite bistro 9 years ago, I stood in line next to the leading lady from Law and order waiting patently to find out how good this bistro was. It was so amazing that I have to come back again this year. The black ink risotto with bacon & Shrimp is to die for! It is better than many Michilin restaurants ! Can’t wait to go back again!!

Exceptional. Great menu with excellent quality from the kitchen. An institution in the 6th and we'll with the visit. Friendly staff who speak English and know what they're talking about. This restaurant doesn't take bookings so just show up. Remember they have two very cute small bars right next door to have a drink whilst waiting for a table to vacate.

Yes. Just yes. Glad we picked this out of all the Yves Camdeborde bistros (we had to decide on one for lunch). We’ve already dined at some really fine establishments in Paris but the food here blew us away(big shout to the scallops cooked as tripe). Definitely a MUST try if in Paris. Service was warm and accommodating too
