I recently purchased an apartment with Agence du Cap. I was fully supported by Michael , having never bought in France before he informed me of all the things i needed to know and kept me informed well along the way. We had quite strict criteria for our property and Michael was very patient and supportive . Even after the purchase he has helped us sort things. So for us this was a good experience with a great outcome of the property we needed.

Recently completed a real-estate transaction with this agency which we mandated to sell our flat. After an initially excellent contact with the mother and founder of the agency we sadly had a very poor experience in dealing with the son, as at no point in time did we feel he represented our interests as the sellers. Luckily we had requested the participation of our own notary in the sales process so were reassured that our interests were being represented but in a traditional sale where the purchaser chooses the solicitor/notary we would have been most concerned that no one was actually defending our interests in the process. I therefore strongly recommend any buyer, especially a foreign buyer or seller, to exclusively work with the mother or ensure personal representation from a 3rd party. Alternatively as a seller, opt for an agency where you are comfortable that your interests are at the heart of the concerns of the agency, thus justifying the sizable commission due to them for this very purpose, as it is indeed frustrating to realize that the commission is the only real interest the agent holds to heart. As a person active in real-estate, it was admittedly the poorest experience I have had to date, thus prompting my review and hopefully helping future buyers and sellers select the good" agents and ensuring that financial gain and bloated egos do not become an accepted standard for real estate agents in the region."

J’ai eu le plaisir de rencontrer l’agence du cap pour mon premier achat tout à fait par hasard, mais en parlant d’eux à mon entourage j’ai compris que j’étais entre de bonnes mains. Il m’ont aidé du début à la fin c’était un plaisir merci encore.
