Mme Chaveron is one of the best 'finds' for which we could ever have hoped. She is pragmatic and efficient which an excellent grasp of English, French civil law and also familar with Common Law in both family law & conveyancing-- uselful in explaining how matters like this are done in FranceWith a divorce in the mix based in a Canadian province and thus two ''family' lawyers there it was no small matter for her to support:- the transfer of ownership from joint to a sole ownership- liase with the local notaire,- assist in dealing taxes and other liabilities- communicate with one Cdn attourney who was capable but unfamiliar with French law and another who, though more costly, struggled with basic syntax, reading documents and grasping the fact that the French property was not only a different country but a different legal jurisdiction & system.Be in no doubt this was, at times, needlessly difficult. We were abroad (Canada and the UK) and much of this occurred during the Covid lock down.Mme Chaveron acted as both our French conveyancing solicitor and real estate agent. Once the matter of title transfer was closed out, she also handled all aspects of the sale of the property including the sales promotion activities and negotiating with prospective buyers.This was done in what, in this part of France, I would call record time.Some important points to highlight:Mme Chaveron is formerly a Parisian lawyer who clearly has earned the trust an respect of local people where she operates with empathy and professionalism.She was able to engage on our behalf with local bureaucracy making possible the use of e.g. DocuSign and other technology to avoid e.g. the need for visits to consulates and validated translation-- this is no small thing!This is a person who goes out of her way to get the business when it comes to selling real estate. Mme Chaveron has a strong work ethic and desire to do right by people.If you need legal representation anywhere in France for the sale/purchase as a native or non native French person in realestate or family law, you need to engage Laure Chaveron.

I only have positive things to say about Laure - she has helped us with several property related queries and transactions. She speaks excellent English and goes above and beyond to help however she can.
