This is one of the places I try to come back to every time I’m in Paris. Please note that they are only opened on Thursday 2pm to 6 pm. The ladies speak fluent English and are always very helpful and friendly, because you will be overwhelmed by all the colors and top notch quality of their pastels. I love how this place has kept its charm, tucked inside of the courtyard from the street, very quaint and classy. It’s worth getting a wooden box embossed with their logo which is packed with foam so your preciously selected pastels will be safe in place.

Amazing pastels with a long and wonderful history behind it. The staff is very friendly, knowledgable and passionate about her trade. And the colours!!! Have not seen such intense colours! A red that is so red or a black that is so black. It is a little pricey but worth every cent!

Beautiful Henri Roché pastels…..pricey but worth it! Only open Thursdays from 2-6 pm….only in Paris can you run an exclusive art store on four hours a week open times!

Une boutique à l'ancienne et La Mecque des pastellistes pour la Rolls-Royce des pastels. On y rencontre une majorité d'etrangers qui viennent en pèlerinage dans ce lieu fréquenté par Degas, Sisley, etc...Dommage que ces bâtonnets soient si chers.

Wonderful team of 2 producing the most lovely pastels. Very worth stopping in on a Thursday and chatting briefly while picking up your purchases or placing your order. The history of the store is worthwhile to hear.
