We had a wonderful week in Claire’s stylish apartment in Pont Aven. It was the perfect location for both Pont Aven itself (two minutes’ walk), with its bars, restaurants and galleries, and the surrounding area. There was easy access to nearby beaches and also great walks from the doorstep. We used our bikes every day to explore the enormous network of quiet lanes in every direction. At the end of each day we returned to our very comfortable and spacious base. Claire was the perfect host. She was there to answer any queries but otherwise left us to enjoy our holiday.

Two stylish apartments with views over Pont Aven and the river Aven. Location is excellent and is 3 minutes walk from the centre. Good parking and the Bois d’Amour provides excellent walking along the riverbank. Several good restaurants and bars nearby. A great location for sightseeing around Brittany and discovering hidden beaches. The apartments are comfortable and well equipped by Claire. We had a super fortnight staying here - thank you Claire.

We have just left after 6 days of complete bliss. We had 2 nights planed but changed our mind the moment we arrived and extended our stay. The river that runs right out side the windows brings wonderful relaxation. The apartment is beautifully decorated with all the things you need and supper comfortable beds. We decided to pay the little bit extra for the bigger room, it was well worth it. If there was not sutch stunning contryside to exsplore it would have been easy to spend fare to mutch time in the propaty. Thank you Claire and John. We needed that.

The most beautifully designed vacation apartment we had ever been to. We were 2 couples traveling together so we took the whole unit (2 apartments). High quality furnishing, very comfortable beds with 100% cotton white bed linens and soft white towels. Kitchen well equipped with lots of dinnerware and cutlery. Everything very clean, absolutely shining. Great location: At the centre of Pont Aven with direct river view from windows. Walking trail just at your doorstep, supermarket and boulangerie within 5-8 minutes walking. Claire, home owner, lives in the lower floor and is always quick to respond to any question, wether during reservation process or while staying. We highly recommend this place and we will be happy to return!

Wàt een geweldige plek in Zuid-Bretagne!Claire heeft het appartement met veel liefde en aandacht heel smaakvol en comfortabel ingericht, het voelt meteen als 2e thuis! Heerlijk bed, fijne badkamer, complete keuken, lekkere bank, alles is er! Claire is een gastvrije en erg aardige host.De ligging is werkelijk prachtig, met uitzicht op het Bois d'Amour en de rivier de Aven. En je loopt zo het mooie en sfeervolle plaatsje in, met voldoende horeca, talrijke galerieën en leuke winkels.In de nabije omgeving is er veel te ontdekken: je kunt prachtig wandelen vanaf het appartement, de kust is adembenemend mooi en ook het achterland verrassend.Ook op culinair gebied is er genoeg te beleven, de oesters eet je niet verser dan hier bij de kwekerij zelf!Er valt nog heel veel te ontdekken, 1 week was te kort daarvoor, dus wij komen zeker en graag nog een keer terug!Bedankt voor je hartelijke gastvrijheid, Claire!

Très bon accueil de la part des hôtes, situé dans un endroit magnifique. L’appartement est très lumineux, spacieux, très confortable et superbement décoré. Équipement très complet. Nous y étions début mars et nous y retournerons. Vraiment à conseiller.

Une nuit seulement mais grand confort/propreté et super localisation.

Superbe studio / Appartement à Pont-Aven. L’endroit a été récemment rénové, avec beaucoup de goût. Superbe emplacement qui vous permettra d’entendre la rivière en contre bas, très apaisant.Pour finir Claire, la propriétaire, est très gentille et arrangeante. Je recommande vivement !

What's not to love about this one bedroom apartment...Open one of the three windows and tune in to the calm sound of the nearby stream and enjoy the wonderful green and scenic view you have over this lovely part of Pont Aven. The warm and personal touch in the decoration of the apartment makes you instantly feel at home and has all the things needed for a very, very pleasant stay.We were there for a whole week, slept like a rose and enjoyed every second of our stay.Thank you Claire
