Château de Servigny

The scenery around the castle is breathtaking, but what really made our stay incredible was their hospitality. Not only is the castle super spacious, you can tailor the holiday completely to your liking. We were a big group of friends and family and we had an amazing time. Breakfast was served every morning and we also hired someone to come and cook lovely meals. Everyone was so friendly and hospitable.We also hired a local yoga teacher (Yoga en Contentin - Sophie) as the grounds are perfect for relaxation in nature. The castle has a pool and a tennis court, so we also hired a tennis coach (Jerome Dudouit) for daily lessons. The pool is big and there are facilities right next to it with shower, toilet and a fridge (that was very handy for poolside beers).Overall the place looks like paradise so it's difficult not to have a good time, but the people in the area make it even more incredible. We were lucky enough to meet the owners on our last day and they were really friendly and welcoming too. It felt like home.Even with so many bedrooms and people taking showers all at the same time, we never had any issues with the water. I could not recommend it enough and we will certainly come back next summer! It was the perfect getaway for us as we had a lot of space - something we all enjoyed after so many months of lockdown. The rooms were spacious and the beds were really comfortable, like 5-star hotel bed comfortable.- Activities: they offer bikes, you can also go for horseback riding and we do recommend yoga and tennis too.- Groceries: the local Carrefour is 3 min away by car.- Visiting the area: there are many historical trips to be made in the area, make sure to visit the American cemetery and Omaha beach.

C’est un château privé, sauf pour de rare occasion. Un magnifique endroit dans la campagne de Normandie.
