Restaurant familial. Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Accueil super. On s’est régalé. A noter: on ne peut pas manger sur place mais pas loin se trouve un parc... bonne idée de picnic

Wir hatten den Laden durch Zufall entdeckt, als wir einen Tag in Basel waren. Mein Mann war erst hin- und hergerissen, hat sich dann aber doch angestellt.Das Pastrami Sandwich war super lecker, das Anstehen hatte sich definitiv gelohnt.Und jeder wird super nett und höflich vom Besitzer begrüßt.Macht weiter so, sehr sehr toll!

As an ex-NewYorker, I like to believe I’m qualified to judge a Reuben sandwich. Well, it’s been years (decades?!) since I’ve had one this delicious. It’s perfect, down to the traditional Russian dressing. They even serve it with a side order of friendliness that one doesn’t normally experience at food establishments in this neck of the woods. And the price? Amazing! Bravissimo, Sapori Del Sud!

After weeks of not finding a good sandwich shop while traveling, we arrived in Basel. This was our first meal here and I fell in love. The owner made us the best sandwiches ever! And he was super friendly. If I lived here, I’d be very fat. That’s a compliment.

The best pastrami sandwich I’ve ever had and the gelato is simply delicious. This place is as popular as the owner. If you lucky to find his mom when you visit, you might learn some Italian words. The old lady is very friendly, kind and welcoming.
