DFDS Ferry Terminal

Überfahrt war gut. Keine Verspätung, es gab Essen und Trinken.

I always find that when we get to Calais at whatever time of the day or night it is everything just seems to run ever so smoothly. The signage around the ferry terminal is fantastic it’s all very clear and marked out where you need to be . All the times I’ve crossed I’ve never had a single problem. The Police & the Customs are always great, they’re very professional at protecting our safety to ensure we have a safe and pleasant crossing .

Good ferry terminal.Straight forward and well signposted.Went at peak time August on 2.20am ferry. It was very busy, but was quick to get through passport control.Toilets on site.

Accueil côté GB..je préfère m'abstenir...A bord..idem, fini le temps de la convivialité entre personnel et chauffeurs Français...du chiffre..du chiffre..pour le tarif qualité du repas. Puffff il n'y a qu'à voir l'autre compagnie..plus de monde et +,+...

I had a horrible experience both boarding and disembarking today.As a cyclist I was told i could board the boat by a member of the crew after patiently waiting for every other vehicle. I was then shouted at severely by the supervisor. Cyclists are treated like an inconvenience. Disgraceful that I paid to be treated so badly.People on the boat came up to me and told me they thought I was badly treated.Then on disembarkation I was told off for not following directions which were given to another cyclist, not me. Again by the manager. Who took out his job frustration. He even told me I had stupid sunglasses on".Totally unprofessional organisation with bad training. A culture of hating cyclists. I will be advising on cycling forums to avoid your services."

Very limited number of public restroom and overall understaffed means long queues. The boarding process could be improved eg. announcing in info panels the lanes that will commence onboarding.
