Amazing place. Staff is super friendly, dj in the basement, clean toilets, talented barkeep and the drinks are plenty tasty. Definitely worth going early and chatting with the staff if you're new to lyon and want to get the lay of the land.

Commençons par ce qui va : le dancefloor est climatisé !Ceci fait, laissez moi vous narrer ma découverte de ce lieu sidérant.Ma moitié et moi étions en quête d'un lieu pour se secouer les puces après un repas fort agréable au moment où nous sommes passés à proximité de ce lieu qui nous semblait intéressant.Première étape, le vestiaire qui nous déleste de 8€ par personne contre la promesse d'un DJ généraliste et disco (spoiler alert : techno qui n'était pas à notre goût et nous attendons encore la partie disco)Deuxième étape, le bar dont le service est correct.Nous terminons notre périple sur le dancefloor à essayer de rentabiliser le coût de l'entrée tant bien que mal d'autant que si vous laissez votre verre sur le côté, le personnel n'aura pas la délicatesse de vérifier que vous l'avez terminé.Bilan après deux heures et autant de gintos : une expérience dont on ne dira pas qu'elle est mauvaise mais simplement dispensable...

The music is wonderful and something you can dance to and enjoy, the drinks leave something to be desired. The Dragonbull, as cool as the name implies, is hard to swallow.

You feel instantly when the people in front of you are genuinely friendly. This happened to me in Groom. I was looking for a nice cocktail and a place to dance. As it was Wednesday, they didn’t have a performer that night. But they kindly wrote up some names of the places that may have a DJ or a live performance. I enjoyed my lovely mojito and headed off. I had a great night at this other locale and owed this to the Groom team. Thank you for that. Whenever I am back in Lyon, I will pop by.

J’ai fêté mon anniversaire un samedi soir, la soirée était parfaite, un service attentionné et irréprochable pour le groupe de 25 personnes que nous étions !Les cocktails et les planches étaient délicieux !Aucun faux pas, un grand merci à toute l’équipe !Je recommande vivement !

Bon bar, personnel cool !Les cocktails sont bons. J’ai pas trop aimé la musique techno (pas fan), et peu de monde pour danser…Après ça reste un bar quand même très sympa mais musique trop forte pour bien s’entendre.

Ambiance OK, mais il faut venir sans t-shirt sous le pull si vous voulez entrer. (Ils obligent à payer le vestiaire). Je ne recommande pas.

We visited Groom for after dinner cocktails and couldn't have been more pleased. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They (multiple staff) had a nice conversation with us including explaining their creative process for cocktails. The drinks were excellent; aromatic, creative, flavorful, and unique compared to what we've had in multiple other countries. We'd highly recommend a stop if you enjoy cocktails. We'll certainly be back during our next visit to Lyon! Keep up the great work!
