Anne is indispensable! We planned a covid-era trip to Basque Country with limited French, and Anne made sure our trip was spectacular. We stayed at amazing places (on and off the beaten path), met food producers of all stripes, and ate delicious delicious meals. Anne met us in Bayonne and gave us a great chocolate tour, and she even organized our Covid tests in a small, rural French village so our reentry to the US went smoothly, which was a lifesaver. Thank you, Anne! We can't wait to visit again and explore more :)

After receiving a recommendation I reached out to Anne about a Bordeaux tour. I then explored her website and thought all of the tour options shown looked great. I ended up focusing on finding a specific date/time on the last minute side but Anne was able to accommodate a morning tour on one of the days during my trip. The tour was wonderful and I gained so much from it. First, Anne is a delight, like spending time with a good friend who happens to be an expert on Bordeaux. We walked all around the city of Bordeaux picking up gems along the way. Anne introduced me to the best of everything Bordeaux has to offer: fresh seasonal fruit, oysters, charcuterie, wine, pastries, spices, cheese, and more - pretty much all of which we either tried or picked up to take away. When I expressed an interest in vegan food too, she showed me a unique store (which happened to be closed, but I could go back another day). Anne also has extensive knowledge about the history of the region which she entertainingly folded into the various things we saw on the tour. She was generous with helpful recommendations on local restaurants and area attractions as well. I got a very good feel for Bordeaux that morning with Anne which made me like it even more and was useful for the rest of my stay. I would highly recommend booking a tour with Anne for anyone planning to visit Bordeaux!

Anne thoughtfully designed 1.5 days of guided tours with us and was helpful with other parts of our trip, she even recommended a fabulous Cognac guide for us, for a separate trip.With Anne we thoroughly enjoyed the Bordeaux History and Food Tour. It was the perfect introduction to Bordeaux. We did this the day of our arrival and I would recommend to anyone.The next day Anne took us through special vineyards and tastings in St. Emilion and around, we had wanted to meet with female-run businesses focused on sustainability and the day was perfect. We also had a delicious outdoor lunch and enjoyable walking tour of St. Emilion.I look forward to touring with Anne again and can also recommend her company website as a treasure trove of helpful information!

Simona and her suggestions and tours simply made our holiday!!My husband and our 6 year old son traveled from Chicago to Paris and Bordeaux (and the surrounding countryside) for our first overseas holiday since COVId.In addition to having wonderful suggestions for the time we spend in Paris, Simona organized an itinerary in the countryside that was personalised for our family - allowing our son to have down time when he needed it as well as allowing us all to make the most of our time in the area.We visited the amazing Dune du Pilat and the beach town of Arachon where we wandered the town and it’s shops and had a nice stop at a park and beach for our son to get some energy out. We also had a lovely lunch with local, seasonal food.We went off the beaten track going to two small festivals in Roaillan and the lovely boat parade in Bommes. We simply never would have known about these amazing experiences otherwise.We visited the castle of Villandraut and got a personalised tour of the town as well as visited the wine property - chateau Guiraud in Sauternes.Simona is friendly, easy to talk to, fluent in English, French and Italian and is very flexible to meet the needs of your group. I cannot recommend a trip with her highly enough!!

Absolutely fantastic trip thanks to Anne! We experienced the hidden gems in Bordeaux and planning the trip was a breeze. Anne's deep knowledge of local history made each stop memorable, from visiting wineries to strolling through the oyster farms on the coast. Anne and her colleagues run informative and fun tours. My husband and I run a self catering near her base and we always mention Anne’s tours to our guests. Their feedback on the tours has been very positive. We’d recommend their tours to anybody visiting this area of France with many things to see and taste.

Anne was amazing! We did a tour with our group of 9 (adults and children) and she planned everything perfectly. We went to two different vineyards and learned a lot about French wine and the local region. We also had a delicious lunch. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!

We spent a lovely morning with Simona touring Bordeaux where she shared so must information and giving us many suggestion on how to spend our time while there. She had tasting arranged and waiting for us during our market tour and at a couple of other locations too. Thank you Simona for a great experience!

We absolutely loved our food and history tour of Bordeaux with Anne. She did an amazing job accommodating our family which included two vegans. All of the food stops were delicious and Anne provided lots of great historical context. I would highly recommend her to anyone traveling in the Bordeaux. She is extremely friendly, thoughtful and knowledgeable! We had a wonderful time!
