What a difference 3 hours makes… had a private lesson with JP to help improve my technique and build my confidence. I haven’t skied in a number of years and found myself just getting down runs rather than actually skiing them properly. JP was super patient, explained clearly where I was going wrong and how to properly adjust my weight and balance. Within an hour or so I was feeling so much better- concentrating on the technique made the skiing so much smoother and I instantly felt more confident. We did lots of exercises that were really handy in improving technique which I will definitely keep trying. I didn’t even realise I was going down red that I had previously been nervous about! JP was also really friendly and made the 3 hours fly by. Would recommend him to anyone! Thanks

JP had a difficult task teaching us, a group of 4 beginner snowboarders all progressing at different rates, despite this he managed to keep the lessons and learning moving forward for everyone. He was clear with his instruction and patient with those of us who were struggling. JP - you might be glad to know that I'd mastered falling leaf by the end of the wek. Next year.... Turning!

We can’t recommend JP highly enough! He was brilliant with our 7 year old, who loved his lessons & has come on brilliantly under JP’s expert guidance. Our son was very quickly at ease with JP & always excited about his next lesson. As parents, we felt very confident that our son was in great hands. Our family has had a wonderful week of skiing & JP has been a big part of that - thanks JP!

JP spent the week with our two little ones (7 and 5) who had never skied before.They really enjoyed the time, and both ended the week confidently skiing and wanting to go skiing again. The hot chocolate breaks were much enjoyed :)

Took lessons with JP for a second year in a row. We were a mixed group of skiers at different ability levels and JP managed to help us all improve. We were over in Val D’isere this year but JP was happy to make his way over and build on last year.When I started with him last year, he took me from a wedge to fully parallel but I was still very “mechanical” in my movements. This week, we worked on fluidity and dynamic skiing and I was able to make short turns down La Face in ValD (one of the hardest blacks in the Alps) comfortably.Again, amazing instructor with incredible levels of patience and methods to get you to the top of your ski game!

AIM Snowsports were an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. John-Paul provided separate private lessons to my two boys and my wife, all skiing beginners.JP was a model of calm, patience, kindness and teaching excellence. He encouraged everybody and focused on one thing at a time, letting them practice and steadily improve without constant instructions or criticism (unlike some other teaching styles). All three steadily grew in confidence and ability under his watchful eye. By the end of the week, they were doing parallel turns and happy to ski red runs.It is hard to overestimate the impact of a fantastic teacher. You can see why JP also trains other instructors. He has a gift. Thank you, John-Paul!

Where's the 6* option? JP was fantastic, would recommend to anyone. My wife had only skied once before and had a bad experience in a group lesson that left her lacking confidence and unable to progress beyond the nursery slopes. This time we booked JP for 9 hours of private lessons across 2 days and he was absolutely brilliant. After the first session of patient and expert instruction she was confidently tackling green and gentle blue runs, and even touched on a small section of red. JP instilled the knowledge, confidence, and control for her to be able to continue practicing with the rest of our group between her two lessons, and then continued to help her improve further in lesson 2. I've worked in the mountains for two season previously so have extensive experience and have seen a multitude of instructors at work, and JP is top notch. He was personable yet highly professional, and seemed like a thoroughly decent bloke. We'll definitely see if he's available for more lessons next time we're back.

JP spent the week with our two boys - 5 and 7. Both beginner skiers. They had a wonderful time. JP was patient and the kids thought he was awesome. They particularly loved their hot chocolate stops! I’d thoroughly recommend JP. Next time maybe we’ll book ourselves in too.

Had a great few days skiing with JP in Les Arcs. I came into the lessons with only a few days of skiing behind me and zero to little knowledge of technique. He took me from snowplough to parallel in the three days and gave me plenty of guidance on what I need to focus on to further improve. I'm balancing and doing single leg squats as I write, and I look forward to next season and working on what I have learnt. Thanks JP!

Complete beginner3 hours with JP gave me the ability to confidently ski under control whilst enjoying the flow of the turns.My only previous experience was 2 years ago when I went skiing for my first time in Andorra, with no instruction, resulting in a badly damaged knee.JP's ability to transfer his knowledge in a way I can understand made it very easy to progress.Really nice guy too. 10/10 would recommend. Had a lot of fun.Also Arc 2000 Is a great place to learn by e looks of it. Nice and wide runs
