Spectacular views, superb food, and great hosts!The Chateau itself is idyllic, situated high on the hillside overlooking the Dordogne valley. Each guest room is individually and expertly decorated with it's own unique theme, with obvious attention to detail.The highlight is without doubt the outdoor area and pool with unbelievable views overlooking the river that meanders off in to the distance. Perfect both during the day for some poolside chill-out time and late in to the evening watching the sun set with a glass of red!Mark and Lindsey are wonderful hosts, making you feel so welcome and at home, with nothing too much trouble. As for the food - genuinely restaurant quality and we couldn't wait for the next meal!What else can I say - this was the second time we'd stayed at Chateau de Chauvac and we're already looking forward to the third!

Myself and my wife had the pleasure of staying at Chateau De Chauvac for a long weekend while attending a friends wedding at another Chateau nearby. The experience was nothing short of wonderful. Mark and Lindsay, our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Their hospitality was truly exceptional.The Chateau itself exudes a unique charm, surrounded by breathtaking views of the picturesque area. The serene ambiance provided the perfect backdrop for some relaxation and enjoyment, the beauty of the surroundings was truly captivating.

La gentillesse et l’accueil de Lindsey et Mark sont exceptionnels. Ils allient discrétion et écoute. Ils connaissent bien la Région et donnent de très bons conseils. Nous nous sommes régalés avec leurs bons plats et le petit déjeuner très copieux.Dans un cadre magnifique et une vue superbe sur la vallée de la Dordogne, le Château est aménagé avec beaucoup de goût.Nous aurons plaisir à revenir ! What an incredible place to stay! Luxurious without being pretentious, this Chateau is true to its historical context but with a few modern touches that made it ideal in every respect. Mark and Lyndsay are the perfect hosts and their food was simply delicious. If I could go on honeymoon again, this is where I would go! The rooms are all en-suite, luxuriously appointed yet with those special little touches that make you feel right at home. Sundowners around the pool with its perfect views over the valley were a great end to every 5-star day. Thank you, Mark and Lyndsay, for helping make it one of our best holidays ever!

Lieu magique avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la dordogne. Hôtes très gentils, discrets et très bon cuisiniers. Bravo.

Un lieu magique, hors du temps, au calme, où l'on surplombe la vallée de la Dordogne comme si l'on prenait son envol. Aucun signe de civilisation alentours, un écrin de verdure préservé du reste du monde à découvrir absolument ! Lindsey et Mark, qui ont restauré le château, sont absolument adorables en plus d'être passionnants, les chambres sont raffinées, la piscine est idyllique, et les dîners à la table d'hôtes excellents.
