Canoé Le Plongeon des Pirates

We booked with this company to support a smaller family run company. It was easy to book & paid cash on the day. Eventhough we don't speak alot of French the owner spoke a little English which was morethan enough to get information. We booked a 3 hr canoe trip for 4 in 2 canoes...Great value & we were told just to enjoy & not to worry about the time. Our trip took us through Castel Naud & Beynac...it was quiet (first thing in morning), but once beyond Beynac we didn't see other canoers but lots of wildlife ...book this, you'll have a fantastic time!!

Pleasant canoe down the Dordogne, including some quieter (but just as beautiful) stretches of the river. The team were very welcoming and friendly.

Génial, super accueil, gérant très agréable et de bon conseils. Nous avons passé un super moment en famille. Plusieurs circuits disponibles avec une fin en pleine nature, ce qu'aucun autre ne propose.Des tarifs très abordables une photo de pirates à la fin. Mes enfants on adoré cette découverte du canoë.Je recommande vivement.

Équipe très sympathique et pro, dans un concept loin des usines à Canoe…Même le parcours qu’ils proposent permet d’échapper à « l’autoroute de la pagaie » et de voir les Châteaux.Et toujours sympas et souriants, même au cœur de la saison!

Great canoe experience on the Dordogne! Discovered by chance this wonderful team of “pirates”. Small, family business with a very warm and fun atmosphere. A great plus is that in addition to the more “popular” and therefore busy parts of the river that pass by Roque-Gageac and Beynac-et-Cazenac, the last leg is after the main canoe drop-offs, and is much more peaceful and nature-focused. Highly recommend !

très bon accueil et gérant super agréable et bienveillant, possibilité de faire un circuit au calme loin de l'autoroute des canoës ce qui est très appréciable. Super friendly and accommodating. We found the pirates by driving past and liking the look of a smaller canoe hire place locally with a fun side. We had a lovely relaxed canoe trip with our two small children. Only us on the river and lots of nature spotting. Loved the pictures and certificate we got. A really fun and memorable morning.
