A company to avoid. Their cement-factory in Bergerac - Unibéton - poured a self-leveling concrete in our basement last year. The water/cement ratio was so high (0,67 on paper) that the concrete never set properly, the surface is soft and dusty (one can manually make holes in it with a srewdriver) and - worst of all - the concrete stinks relentlessly for over a year now. On hot summer days we can not even sit in the garden near the house, as the chemical odor from the basement is so strong! I have written to both Heidelberg Cement Group headquarters, to the CEO of Unibéton in Paris and to the local managers aswell. 3 visits, and they conclude that there is no problem" - they are not bothered by the smell
