Enorm vriendelijke gastvrouw Stephanie en gastheer Charlie zorgen dat niks je te kort komt. Een magisch plekje weg van de massa? Dit is wat je wil. Heb je kinderen? Die komen ook niks te kort door de grote binnenspeelruimte, speeltuin, zwembad en spellen buiten zoals tafeltennis, darten en nog veel meer. Voor tieners is er zelfs een fijne hangplek en een Xbox.Wij verbleven in Maison Cachee een ruim appartement met keuken en toebehoren. Erg makkelijk je hoeft dus weinig mee te nemen. Andere opties zijn de ruimere Chez Coco en Chez Artiside.

Die liebsten und fürsorglichsten Gastgeber die ich je kennengelernt habe. Für Familien mit Kindern jeden Alters sehr geeignet. Sie sind mit allen Ausgestattet. Das Anwesen ist mit sehr viel Liebe renoviert. Die Ferienwohnungen sind groß, sauber und wunderschön. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Eine kleine Oase mitten in den Weinbergen. Cognac und Angoulême sind ungefähr nur eine halbe Stunde entfernt.

Wij hebben net een fantastische week achter de rug. Wij verbleven met ons dochtertje van 11 maanden en werden zo warm ontvangen. De eigenaars zijn ontzettend kindvriendelijk en alle voorzieningen voor kleine kindjes zijn aanwezig, inclusief speelgoed. We voelden ons meteen thuis! De locatie is prachtig en uiterst rustig gelegen. Onze gites was meer dan groot genoeg en had een mooi uitzicht over de velden. We kunnen de locatie enkel maar aanbevelen!

We had a fantastic week at the Courtyard in August 2020. The facilities are fantastic, especially for families travelling with children. La Maison Cachee was ideal for our small family, providing both privacy but also easy access to shared outdoor and indoor space. Steph and her family are very welcoming, friendly and helpful and were able to answer all of our queries as well as providing recommendations for near-by activities for the odd day we opted not to stay by the pool. We also really enjoyed the pizza evening - delicious pizzas, social distancing protocols respected, and lovely company with the other guests. We hear that this year, due to COVID safety measures, many of the normal happenings at the Courtyard could not take place. However this was not felt at all, and we really enjoyed our stay and would gladly visit again.

Merci à steph et à Charlie d'avoir rendu le jour de mariage de ma soeur une journée merveilleux dans un cadre idyllique.L'emplacement, les gîtes, le courtyard, la salle pour le mariage tout etait fabuleux.Steph est quelqu'un qui fais attention aux petit détail et qui prend du plaisir à faire plaisir à ses clients.Acceuil vraiment par une famille en or.Malheureusement je nai pas pris beaucoup de photos mais je peux vous assurer que l'endroit est très jolie et je conseil fortement que ça sois dans un gîte ou pour un événement spéciale.Encore merci

My husband, 19 month old and I have just returned from a 10 day stay at The Courtyard and had the most incredible time. The Courtyard is beautiful and so well set up for children, it's hard to know where to start! The gites are beautiful, spacious, the best kitchen set up we've seen, proper cots, comfy beds, sofas and a private garden, not to mention loads of books and toys for children of all ages and the extra stuff you don't want to have to pack like a highchair, non slip mat etc. Then in the grounds (which are gated) there are chickens you can feed, friendly dogs (we took one for a little walk!), a play area with swings, slide etc. and a lovely pool with loads of space around for deckchairs or a bit of cherry picking! And then there's Steph's food which is such high quality, lovingly prepared, generous and it's rare to find someone who can cook food from around the world but she can. Steph, Charlie and Finn couldn't have been more welcoming or looked after us better. Can't recommend The Courtyard enough.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful place!Steph, Charlie and Finn were the most wonderful hosts - nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Everything you need is there, the gite is very well kitted out. The pool is brilliant, kids playground and hideout were fab. Pizza night was a particular highlight! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone who wants a lovely, restful stay in a gorgeous part of the world.

We have just enjoyed our second trip at The Courtyard and it was as wonderful as we remembered and hoped. It is a truly special place with Steph and Charlie really going the extra mile to make adults and kids feel incredibly welcome and relaxed. The location is beautiful, accommodation comfortable, clean and family friendly, and atmosphere a tonic. If you ever need anything, you just need to ask. Including a host of local recommendations which all were great. Loads to do in the area with good facilities - supermarket pick up ahead of week is a blessing after a long journey with kids! The Courtyard provided us with time and space to reconnect as a family as well as meet new people- kids and adults alike. Much time was spent chatting and chilling under the tree, in the pool and on the play equipment. Wonderful to watch the kids relax and ‘run free’ and build confidence trying new things.
