Château de Claribès

We had a lovely tour at this beautifull biological vineyard. The owner is so nice and welcoming.She answerd all our questions and explained everything so good. We learned alot about the winemaking proces and winetasting.I would definetly recommend this place if you want a personal and relaxt tour trough a vineyard.

We visited Chateau de Claribes recently while on holiday in the area. The organic vineyard is owned by Nick and Helen and they are both clearly passionate about the wine they produce. We had the pleasure of being shown around by Nick. He was very informative and explained the involved art of wine making in an easy and understandable way. We left there feeling that we had learnt a lot. The tour also included a tasting and Nick patiently showed us how to appreciate the different types of wine that they produce.If you are in the area, this Chateau is really worth a visit and the wine is delicious too!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Chateau de Claribes. The holiday house, which is just adjacent to the main house, was perfect for our group of two couples as there are two master bedrooms, each with a bathroom. The house was decorated in a beautiful, serene and was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The best part was the location in the middle of a working winery and vineyard. The owners, Helen & Nick couldn't have been nicer or more helpful - we especially enjoyed Helen's tour and tasting. (Their wines are organic and vegan, and we were very interested in learning about the wine making process.) All in all, a delightful holiday - highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time on a 2hr tour of the vines, winemaking process and tasting with Helen. Would highly recommend visiting this beautiful vineyard - plus the wine is delicious

Très sympa et bel endroit mais 10 euros pour la visite sans que l'on voit les chais ni la fabrication du vin, c'est beaucoup trop cher. Beaucoup d'autres sont simplement gratuits...

We visited Chateau de Claribes at the start of August and had an amazing time. Helen's tour was great as she was so lovely and knowledgeable about wine. I've been on several vineyard tours but still learned a ton of new things. It was also good to hear about all the efforts being put in by Chateau de Claribes to drive a sustainable way of winemaking and maintaining the land. And also importantly, the wine we got to taste was delicious! Highly recommended visit for anyone in the area.

Just wow. The owner Helen is extremely nice and so knowledgeable about wine. Their farm is completely organic and very conscious of they carbon footprint. I got to see everything from the Vinyards to where they make the magic happen. Helen was just a sweetheart with such beautiful mastery of her craft. Must see place!

If you are looking for first class accommodation in a beautiful, Idyliic setting then look no further than Chateau de Claribes. Nick and Helen have created the perfect holiday home for couples and families alike and are the perfect hosts with nothing too much trouble. The house is decorated to a very high standard, with excelllent bath and shower faciilities and is extremely well equipped with all modern amenities. There is also a wood burning stove with ample free log supply for those cold spring and autumn nights, although it was baking hot whilst we were there so we never had cause to light it! The added bonus of course is being able to stay within an award winning chateau and get the opportunity to drink their excellent wines and hear first hand about the wine making process from the owners, Nick and Helen, whose informative wine tours are second to none and their passion and dedication unsurpassed. The chateau is close to numerous pretty towns and villages, all with excellent restaurants, only a short drive away. The beautiful river Dordoyne is also only a couple of Kilometres away. The weather was so wonderful during our stay that I was quite happy to wander amongst the vines or sit reading a book in such a wonderfully peaceful setting. We can highly recommend Chateau de Claribes and will definitely be returning as soon as possible.

This is a beautiful winery definitely worth visiting if you are in the area.The tour of the vineyards, tasting room, and chai is extremely interesting.Our host Helen, shared historical tales of the property and area, as well as her own story detailing her personal journey to owning and operating a successful organic winery.Her passion is evident from the moment I first met her.The wines are flavourful. My personal favourite was the 2006 maison rouge. However, they were all simply splendid. Cheers!
