Please spare yourself a horrendous experience and avoid this place like the plague! I went there today as I had a medical emergency. I suffer from severe asthma and take a variety of medication. Usually, I have enough but I got a bad chest infection, which led to a series of asthma attacks. My asthma nurse advised me to use a spacer with the reliever Ventolin inhaler and take 20 to 25 puffs in an emergency. However, this meant that my inhalers were empty, which is dangerous for a severe asthmatic.So, I went to this pharmacy today to get an emergency inhaler. I took all my medication, showing it was clearly dispensed to me, plus my international medical card and ID. I was so wheezy that I struggled with my balance and had trouble speaking. I tried to steady myself and hold on to the counter and mentioned that I was suffering from an asthma attack. I barely touched some display item and instead of any assistance, the pharmacist raised his voice and aggressively told me to mind his stuff. He showed zero empathy and ascerbated my poor condition with uncalled rude behaviour. I speak fluent French btw and clearly explained that I had a chest infection, which has led to me being extremely wheezy and needed emergency help. He cut me off mid sentence and told me that there is no way he would give a Ventolin inhaler and that no pharmacist would. That is a blatant lie, as on a few occasions I was able to purchase Ventolin inhalers, when for example, my handbag went missing. There is a code of conduct and duty of care in clear medical emergencies and this horrible pharmacist was utterly devoid of empathy.When this wheezy, the last thing one can afford to do is to become stressed, so I drove immediately to another town to find another pharmacy. There I barely needed to explain and was immediately sold a Ventolin inhaler. I will be seeking further advice regarding reporting the failure to provide assistance in a medical emergency. For a severe asthmatic this could be fatal!
