Best service ever

The company was very responsive to our needs for assistance. Staff was prompt and kind.I would recommend not booking the “euro classic” boat series. These are All metal boats/metal decks which become floating ovens in the French summer sun. Opt for one of the more modern boats in the line up.

We were provided with a boat that was not in good working order which made driving the boat much more difficult. In addition, the Canal Du Midi, which we went down, is like a toilet because they allow boats to dump all their sewage directly into the canal. Finally, despite the beautiful photos that France Afloat has on their website, the Canal du Midi's beautiful alleys of trees are mostly gone due to pests. Most the time you are are going by five foot saplings that offer no shade from the boiling sun. So, I would not do Canal du Midi again, and would not use France Afloat again.

Een fijne kleinschalige jachthaven.

Très beaux bateaux, bien entretenus. Nous avions loué le Sanguetta, magnifique et confortable. Nous n'étions que 2 mais aurions facilement pu être 4, voire 6 à bord. 2 très belles cabines, chacune avec sa sdb. Très confortable, chauffage à bord. Tout l'équipement y est pour que vous passiez une excellent voyage sur les canaux et la magnifique rivière (un peu sauvage parfois). Petits villages tout au long de la navigation, plusieurs haltes agréables. À refaire!
