As travellers from the UK, we initially found limited Halal raw and cooked meat options in Perpignan. However, towards the end of our journey, we stumbled upon a hidden gem just a short 15-minute walk from the city centre. Tucked away in the heart of the Arab community in Perpignan, this unassuming place offers a delectable selection of raw Halal meats, featuring succulent chicken, lamb, and beef, along with mouth-watering chicken rotisserie and perfectly roasted potatoes.What truly sets this place apart, however, is the genuine hospitality of the owner and staff. Their willingness to assist extends beyond the meat and grocery they offer – they are eager to provide information about the surrounding areas and even went the extra mile by helping us arrange transportation to the airport on a Sunday when taxi and public transport options were limited due to the city's closures. Their warm and accommodating service added an extra layer of satisfaction to our visit.

The first time we came here, there was next to no selection. I don't know if it was because we were there about a half hour after opening and they hadn't set up yet, or if they never have very good selection. We got some lamb steaks and the very friendly owner gave us a flatbread which turned out to be very good. The lamb steaks were also good.The second time, also not very much selection, and we got more lamb steaks, but of a different cut this time. We also got some already-cooked-and-seasoned prawns and squid.We found out after getting everything home that the lamb steaks had gone bad, as had the squid.

J'ai été très déçu de la qualité de la viande, je ne recommande pas ce boucher.J'ai testé la plupart des boucherie halal (st Jacques, bas vernet, eaux Vives...et j'en passe).Le seul qui sort du lot et qui est le meilleur Boucher Hallal de la ville est CHEZ BACHIR, la viande est d'EXCELLENTE QUALITÉ et toujours FRAÎCHE
