Château de la Bien-Assise

The campsite was perfect. Very close to the ferry. It's large, but because of the great layout it feels spacious and it's well laid out, with mixed areas of campers interspersed by mature trees and hedges.The pool and slide are great, spacious and clean. There are three large toilet and shower blocks that were all clean and the setting is beautiful.The staff were very helpful and friendly. We wished we had stayed longer.

Site located within easy access to Le-Shuttle. Very mature site providing shady and open spaces. Really quiet after 9pm. Reception ladies very helpful.

Waren Anfang Juli für 4 Nächte auf dem Platz. Mit zwei Personen zahlten wir knapp 46 Euro pro Nacht. Zusätzlich noch 8 Euro für 3 Tage WLAN, welches nicht immer kunktionierte. Der Pool ist veraltet und zu klein. Zu wenig Platz für die Sonnenliegen. Ein leeres Kleinkind -Becken wurde hinter einer unzugänglichen Sichtschutzwand versteckt. Flüssigseife auf der Toilette wurde erst nach zwei Tagen, nach meiner Erinnerung, aufgefüllt.Der Platz wird zu 90 Prozent von englischen Gästen genutzt, welche selten länger als 1-2 Nächte bleiben.Obwohl Hauptsaison, war der Platz nur zur Hälfte belegt.Straßenlärm durch verkehrsreiche Straße (Kreisel direkt vorm Campingplatz) auch nachts hörbar.Allerdings ist die parkähnliche, baumreiche Umgebung idyllisch. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit.

A nice large pool area and nice shower and toilet facilities on the site.Spacious pitches and well kept.Mini golf is concrete ground and is not very good.Bar is okay with plenty of outside seating.Food is atrocious. We had chips which are okay but not salted at all. The ham and cheese toastie is vile. The cheese and ham inside is very cheap as you can tell. The cheese is plastic burger cheese. The bread disintegrates into your mouth. Would never get food from there again. Service not bad but too busy for one person to be serving as there is. Do not get the ham and cheese toastie.
