Transport station Avoriaz

Réservation impossible avec précision qu'il faut être prêt...jusque là logique sauf qu il faut attendre 30 minutes dehors! Aucune information d une forte affluence lors de l'appel. Résultat on arrive en retard à l'activité qu'on avait réservée. Très déçue de l'organisation. Le minimum de service client n'est clairement pas assuré. Quand on demande aux clients d être attentifs à la ponctualité il faut déjà se donner les mêmes exigences. A bon entendeur...

Avoriaz is a car free resort so you will need these people to move your luggage if you arrive by car. Timings can move around a bit they always manage to move you and your luggage.

Pas de tour en calèche pour nous malheureusement, et oui, un vendredi, il vaut mieux faire payer les petites courses aux touristes, c'est plus rentable ! Pourtant, il n'y a pas de système de réservation en place et la journée du vendredi n'est pas déconseillée sur le site. Au final, grosse déception pour les enfants...

Nous avons commandé 2 traîneaux pour nous et nos bagages, personnes très mal aimable, balances les valises, nous dis qu’elle n’a pas de temps à perdre..bref très déçu du transport qui est censé être un bon moment en calèches..

I've read all of the reviews here and I need to make things clear. Avoriaz is car free. If you drive here or get a taxi you will end up in the transport centre. Unless you want to walk suitcases etc. To your residence then you will need to use this service.When you arrive you unload and set your luggage near one of the bays marked for your apartment district. Then go and park if it is your own car or of it is a taxi just go and check in. No pre-booking is available.The options then generally are:1. Take a piste-machine like vehicle to your residence. Max 10 mins trip (we were staying at the furthest point). Cost €13 for family of 4 plus luggage. Extra small cost per extra person.2. Look to take a lovely horse drawn carriage to your residence. This is obviously weight restricted per carriage so you may need more than one. Also much more expensive.Our experience last week was that we got a driver within about 5 mins and we're at our apartment within 15 mins of arriving in the transport centre.When you are leaving you go out on the street and there are staff members patrolling. Flag them down and they will book you in. Same cost. Allow time at busy periods. We waited about 25 mins for the transport on a busy Day changeover morning.Altogether a very easy process if you are patient. And cheap when compared to your accomodations/flights/restaurants etc.

Déçue, on avait un forfait tout compris, on nous dit de prendre la calèche avec bagages, et bien sûr à 6 il en faut deux. Et en arrivant à l'hôtel le second cocher nous fait payer... Très déçue de la façon de faire.
