Great chef and team. Had an excellent meal and a lovely time sitting at the counter and observing the chef and team. The sharing plates concept with a mix of the small plates and mains was a nice twist. I would recommend the mackerel, the monk fish bichotan and pork ssam. The dishes were innovative and well made..andSommelier’s wine recommendations were good front of the house team was excellent and service was great.Highly recommend a visit.

The lamb was AMAZING. Very tender and well seasoned. Overall, the food tasted good but the portions were very small for its price.

Feasted like royalty at Frenchie Pigalle last night. Nestled in Pigalle, an area in Paris that was once home to artists like Picasso and Van Gogh, Frenchie Pigalle has a history as rich as its cuisine.Starting off with a perfect Moscow mule and a diverse selection of wines, we then indulged in a selection of artfully prepared dishes. From a bacon scone glazed with honey to goat cheese-filled choux pastry, each bite was a revelation. A beautifully executed pea tart with crispy pastry and creamy mint filling, and asparagus adorned with an anchovy emulsion further delighted our senses. Our mains included a perfectly sous vide egg accompanied by broccoli and walnuts, a succulent lamb duo with apple and mint, and cold linguini in an Asian-inspired sauce. The dining experience was sweetly concluded with a unique goat cheese dessert featuring raspberries and smoky ice cream. All the while, we reveled in the delight of people-watching, making this gastronomic journey truly memorable.

So many restaurants in the area can offer a much better food, wine and service for the same range of price. We were extremely disappointed with the dishes. The ingredients were miserably combined and I could barely finish eating. The atmosphere is nice but all the other disappointments definitely ruined our vibe. Never again!

It was recommended by a French colleague of mine for lunch menu (28 euros for appetizer + main course). I went there in the evening (32 euros for each main course). The sauce of both main courses is on par with good French restaurant, but the way the restaurant deals with the ingredients itself is mediocre in my views.Lamb is cooked medium rare, outside wrapped in a circle of sheep skin / sheep fat (?). I guess the goal is to focus on the flavor of the lamb itself, but I have to say the texture of the sheep skin / sheep fat distracted me a bit and they tasted a little greasy. I tried similar main courses in some other excellent French restaurants and they can usually get rid of these grease.Regarding the fish main course using sea bass, the cooked part of the sea bass was exceptionally tender and went very well with the sauce, I definitely love the combination. A large part of the sea bass wasn’t cooked much and it reminded me of sashimi, but unfortunately this part was mostly the chewy tissues from the sea bass, so in the end I had to spit them out because I couldn’t swallow them.So my conclusion is, let’s just say the level at which this restaurant handles meat and fish was relatively basic among those good French restaurants, but it lacks a good touch to some of the details. Nice decor and the servers were polite and professional, I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant, but wouldn’t go back for food like this at this price.
