This is what I imagine even you say Parisian bistro. Lovely small restaurant with well built menu, and great service.On hot late summer day, we were glad to find one free table, and decided to try local specialty, the beef tartare. I ate quite a few beef tartares in my life, and must say it was the best in my life. Very light, and balanced flavors, loved the capers in it. Totally delicious and although it was a huge portion, we didn't feel overly full.Delicious food, amazing service, nice atmosphere. Really recommend going for great food.

I've had the rabbit rillettes, duck confit, salade Lyonnaise and the tartin - all wonderful! The wine list is also well selected and reasonably priced. Wait staff is professional and friendly.

Best food we had in France! Place is cozy and full of French people which makes us think they know what’s good! The vibe was immaculate. The staff was lovely. I highly recommend their steak tartar. Portions were large!

We enjoyed our dinner very much, sitting outside. Food was good but not superb. Staff friendly and not too pushy. House wine of fair quality. Steak grilled with perfection, burger a little too heavy. All in all, a safe option for a nice dinner.

The food was blend, expensive and overrated, the vegetarian risotto taste like water, doesn’t have any flavor, is a portion of white blend rice (without even salt) and on top few vegetables with no extraordinary flavor. Is like eating water. For 17 euros is not worth it at all.The onion soup was nothing extraordinary or special. The dessert was the best of the menu, rum baba.

Always my favorite restaurant in Paris. If you’re looking for the best authentic French restaurant… look no further. Located in the heart of the Bastille this restaurant will offer you everything. Excellent service and excellent food. If you’re in the area I highly recommend Chez Paul.

We had a lovely family dinner, served by Marie. The food was perfect, steak, soup, duck, and all served with care and affection. Probably my favourite meal in 2 weeks we've been here and in London.

Je suis réellement tombé amoureuse du lieu. Le charme et l’authenticité du lieu ressortent clairement. Vous pourrez retrouver dans ce restaurant ouvert depuis les années 40 des plats typiquement français de la bonne viande et beaucoup de chaleur humaine.
