I recently had the pleasure of visiting Poilâne , and I must say, it was an absolutely enchanting experience that transported me straight to the heart of Paris. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by the tantalizing scent of freshly baked pastries that instantly awakened my senses.The ambiance of the bakery is simply charming. The warm, cozy interior with its rustic wooden furnishings and soft lighting creates an inviting atmosphere that encourages you to take your time and savor every moment. The gentle hum of French music in the background added to the authenticity of the experience.

Beautiful quick breakfast baked goods before departing Paris, super buttery and perfection. Everyone with a warm smile as they serve even if they don't understand what you're asking for in broken frenglish haha thank you!!!

Small little bakery with amazing food. Open early with very friendly staff, even though we spoke no French. They did understand some basic English words, enough for us to describe and ask what some things are.For where it is located, we found the price very reasonable, see the picture below for what we got for under 15€ (3 of each and ¼ of a large sourdough).If you are in the area, I would recommend having a look, or picking something up on the way to the Tower to eat.

Excellent historic and well known bakery with rich background. Lovely sourdough bread and baked goodies. Very buttery croissants.

Packaging classe, on a l’impression d’avoir quelque chose de précieux a l’intérieur. On a essayé le chausson aux pommes et la tarte aux pommes, elles sont exceptionnelles. Une adresse parisienne a ne pas rater.

Cliente fidèle depuis un certain temps; j'ai pu constater qq points négatifs:1) Il faut demander du pain de la dernière fournée afin d'être sûre qu'il soit frais2 ) Espace restreint dans la boutique3 ) Vendeuses assez effacées" ; leur donner un sourire pour le recevoir en retour4 ) Pain frais/chaud mai dur certaines fois ; décongelé ?5 ) Quelques fois le dessous de la miche est complètement noir6 ) Aucune fidélisation de la clientèleMerci quand même a M. Lionel Poilâne d'avoir élaboré une aussi bonne miche
