What a fantastic week me and the family had at The Cabin lake in August. Had a pool for the kids and a lake for me. In truth it was the best family holiday we ever had. The kids had a amazing time and our hosts were amazing. Told us about all the best places to go on the first day, shopping, sites etc. Will say the beach is definitely a must if the weather is good absolutely amazing scenery and lots for the kids to do also. Sand beach warm water stunning. Shops from the lake are literally walking distance. Sells everything you will need even has a small fishing section which was reasonably priced. So if your like me a family man that needs to bring your tribe along on holiday and want combine fishing in it then honestly look no further. Me and mostly the misses look on the Internet high and low. This place is best by far and the house is right by that lakeside with everything you need contained within. Sky TV, 2 bedrooms one with a double bed with a single on top. The other 2 singles. Pull out sofa bed also. Shower a good one. Microwave, cooker and dishwasher, fridge fully working kitchen. Literally could be cooking and still fish. The area is stunning photos truely do t do it justice, so quite. Fell in love with the place immediately.OK the fishing. I fished for a week me and the wife. 6 rods. Caught loads truely lose count. Some days I could barely get all rods out. I didn't fish all day and night. 20 30 pound fish up to 38. The 38 I caught twice. Had a double take 30s style with the biggest being 36 which the wife caught. So with amazing fishing and a pool and the house truely amazing place.. Will I go again. Damn right. 5 stars.

Just back from a week at Lodge with my Wife, Sister and Brother in law.From when Gary collected us at the airport the laughs started. Gary and Kerry are amazing hosts and looked after us with clean accomodation and fantastic food.Fishing was tough going but we had only planned to fish days. We did end up doing a couple of nights to get some fish on the bank.This really is a stunning place set in a beautiful area of France. We will be returning again that's for sure.

What can I say-after covid hit and we had to move the holiday on as travel was stopped we managed to get out and it was worth the wait- this place is beautiful. We came as a family and had a awesome time. Weather was chilly but still saw some gorgeous fish on the bank. Such a peaceful location, pool table was a great feature at the lodge- we made use of that in the evenings. Kerry and Gary were helpful from start to finish. We will be back again for sure.

What a place! We stayed at the Cabin Lake 10-17 March 2022 and were the first booking of the year, after 2 years of postponements due to Covid. We couldn't really have asked for more, even the indifferent weather couldn't put a dampener on the whole week. Garry collected us from the airport and was great host, great chat, great stories, great chef and a great help all week. Tips on where to fish, how to fish and how to get the best pictures of our catches. The cabin is perfect for anyone wanting a week away from the hustle of everyday life. Comfortable beds, pool table, dart board and amazing fishing. Two fish over 40lb were the icing on the cake. Already booked again for next year!

Amazing visit on our first carp fishing trip abroad. Garry and Kerry were amazing hosts . Garry’s knowledge and support was brilliant and we caught loads of fish following his advice . We stayed at the cabin . It was stunning and very clean . The grounds are immaculate and the lake beautiful. Great for non fishing family as well. We had the food package and had a cooked breakfast and evening meal every day which was fab. Can’t fault a thing about it and we have already booked again for next year. !!!

we spent a week at the cabin and what a lovely week we had. our family ranged from a 6 year old to a 71 year old and we all had a lovely time. gary was fantastic and even gave us advice on some places to take the kids for a day out.as for the fishing. im not a big fisher but my dad is. but i really enjoyed catching big fish and i cant wait to come back next year. the family enjoyed all the excitement and even helped land the fish and pose for pictures too.we only fished in daytime, and had a couple of days of no fishing and we still caught 24 fish in total. the biggest was a 44lb mirror carp and we also caught a lovely 26lb sturgeon.thank you to gary and kerry. see you next year

Fantastic venue and hosts. Facility’s are second to none ( pool table, swimming pool, even draught beer if required) 240v power on the lake and of course we’ll stocked with big carp.
