Precision Ski Meribel - La Chaudanne

I visited Meribel in January and had some damage to my skis. The people in the shop were unbelievably helpful and went above and beyond to resolve my issue and sent my skis off to their workshop to be repaired immediately, providing me with replacement skis in the interim. I managed to get the skis back the next day before travelling home the following morning. By far the best customer service I have experienced.

I booked through alpineresorts for a 6* (top quality) skis and I was given old and lower quality equipment. They were out of sticks too so I was given telescopic ones.

Excellent accueil d Alfonso et savoir faire très pro d Antoine (team du magasin proche du rond point) qui a repris les réglages de mes skis (team du magasin du centre).

Avoid precision ski in Meribel area at all!Shocking old equipment.Don’t even bother pre booking any sort of levels of quality, they will give you whatever is available and usually stuff that is bashed up and quite a few years old. It’s appalling.They have run out of the most common sizes and I had skis which were too short and rattling at speed. They tried to change but then the second pair was even worse with screw missing and the metal flapping. Ended up with another disappointing skis. What’s absolutely terrible the ski is not serviced properly.In the end I had rented top quality ski from another rental shop for few days and my husband had to service and sharpen the edges on his ‘precision’ rental ski.The shop is chaotic, especially on Saturday afternoon so avoid. Not enough staff and definitely not enough equipment of acceptable/ safe quality. They take too many bookings. Never ever again.It’s not worth it and will spoil your holiday in the beautiful mountains. What’s worse you might end up having an accident.DO NOT RENT YOUR SKI here! There are other professional places in Meribel. Precision ski rental is not !

Skis were perfect, any problems were sorted out instantly, nice and friendly staff, knowledgeable about the skis, boots and the whole resort. Brilliant service and would definitely use again and again
