Beautiful place but was not cery happy with staff. After the rain, they didn't bother wiping until some time later and we had to wipe tables ourselves.Update: its ok, hopefully remember that for future.

Fantastic setting and quick service. Once ordered, food was ready quickly despite long lines. A few items were made wrong or missing but we’re quickly resolved. The food was good and the atmosphere was outstanding.

Extremely overpriced, but expected considering the location (€60 for two quiches and two sandwiches, two hot chocolate and two waters). But we asked for a range of stuff (that was on display, like quiches and sandwiches) and were told that they didn’t have any, very inefficient work and rude servers. One of the only places to eat in the garden, would expect a better service.

Not too expensive, food was nice and seating area pleasant and shaded on a hot day. Staff were ok, not overly friendly but were very busy, but doesn't cost anything to smile. Had already ran out of some of the dishes and wasn't particularly late.

Malgré l'attente pour commander à déjeuner à l'heure de pointe (il était 12h30) : il était affiché 2 files d'attente pour les caisses 1 et 2 que nous avons pris, mais en s'approchant de la caisse on s'aperçoit qu'il y a une 3ème caisse d'ouverte mais peu fréquentée car pas indiquée !Nous avons commandé 3 formules à 13 euros par personne qui inclus un bon sandwich jambon/beurre/fromage + 1 boisson + 1 dessert que nous avons consommé sur place, en terrasse à l'ombre, c'était une pause agréable.

Grosse déception ! Je suis venue hier avec une amie vers 14h, j’ai dû faire 35/40min de queue pour qu’on me dise à 15h qu’il ne reste plus de plats chauds et que je dois me contenter de sandwichs (qui n’avaient vraiment pas l’air apétissants).Je ne m’attendais pas à me contenter d’un paquet de chips et d’un yaourt sans goût au château de Versailles … je suis très déçue !!La prochaine fois, mettez une affiche indiquant que la cuisine ferme à 15h30 et faites en sorte de pouvoir assurer les commandes avant cette heure.

La Girandole at Versailles is a nice place, between trees and in nature. Their coffee is not good at all, but the toasted sandwich with chicken and cheddar is really tasty - totally recommend (price: 9 euros).The simple sandvich (the one at 7.5 euro) - the baguette was so hard that we got lips scratches and could barely bite into it - but it was buttery and tasty.The location and atmosphere is really nice, there is also a restroom nearby.All in all, we appreciated that the restaurant is well thought out - with taking things on a tray from the cashier and cleaning after you.When we went, Sunday, at around 12:15, it was not very crowded and we could even pick the table to sit at. When we left (around 1) it was a different story: many people waiting in line (only 2 cashiers) and all tables occupied :)Just don’t waste your money on coffee. The sandwiches can be ok, but I believe it depends.

After wandering in the park when reached this restaurant. They closed at 05:30 PM though google says as 6:00 PM. They simply say please don’t stand in line. There is no indication of timings of any restaurant in the park. So make your own arrangements for food.
