Definitely one of the dining experiences we had in Bordeaux. Food is really tasty, flavours are well balanced. I had duck confit my partner had squid risotto, and we both enjoyed it very much.The service is superb, super friendly staff. Last but not least, highly recommend their homemade pineapple rum (on top of wine of course)

Un déjeuner à deux exceptionnel. Merci pour la qualité de vos plats. Les moules étaient dingues et le pavé de veau aussi.Le tout dans une bonne ambiance conviviale

Bon restaurant, avec une petite terrasse extérieur ombragée. Des plats bien présentés et très bien cuisinés. Je recommande pour une pause méridienne.

Bien. Régulier. Constant. Carte simple et savoureuse de cuisine traditionnelle élaborée à partir de produits locaux et frais. Cadre agréable. Accueil deferent et service efficace. Jolie selection de vins. Belle adresse. Réservation conseillée.

Lovely spot, the hidden outdoor patio in the back is a fantastic find! Staff is friendly, knowledgeable on the food and helpful. We tried difference dishes from the hand written menu and each one was a treat. The dishes are a fushion between asian and french cuisine and this place knows how to pull it off.Definitely leave room for a dessert! We’ll be back.

Dîner en terrasse à l'écart de la rue. Avons commandé des cocktails Saint Germain reçus sans bulles et assez moyennement préparés qui nous ont été changés et nettement améliorés en retour à nos remarques (changement de serveuse aussi beaucoup plus sympathique !), nous avons apprécié le geste. Les plats étaient top : excellents produits, très copieux, goutus, très bien préparés (plat - dessert), on a adoré. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

This is a gourmet check-in spot hidden in the old district of Bordeaux, with an atmospheric decoration. Although they are all classic French colors, the chef is very attentive to the presentation of the dishes. The ingredients are very fresh, and my colleagues and I thought it was so great. We had a pleasant lunch time here, and certainly we will come back again.

Restaurant au top ! Nous nous sommes vraiment régalés hier !Les plats sont copieux et savoureux.La planche était vraiment délicieuse, encore merci au chef pour le pan con tomate qu'il nous a fait spontanément.Le personne est vraiment adorable, nous avons beaucoup ri.Nous reviendrons !Merci encore.

The highlight of our trip to BordeauxDuring our recent 8-night trip to Bordeaux and Saint Emilion, we dined at some of the top restaurants in the city, including Michelin star establishments. However, the standout meal was at Chai Maestro.From the warm greeting when we entered to the attentive, friendly service from the manager throughout the night, the dining experience was impeccable.We began with the tuna tartare, razor clams and shrimp ravioli with foie gras which were all so fresh and expertly prepared. For mains, we had the squid and chorizo risotto made with squid ink, and the beef tartare. The risotto was rich and full of flavor with perfect al dente rice, and the beef tartare was seasoned to perfection. The desserts did not disappoint either - impeccable.During our entire trip, this was absolutely the best meal we had in Bordeaux. I highly recommend trying as many dishes as possible to fully experience the talented chef's skills. Everything was made from quality ingredients and had so much flavor.The charming, intimate setting of this local bistro makes it the perfect place for an outstanding French meal. I will certainly return to Chai Maestro first when I visit Bordeaux again in the future. It deserves to be at the top of any Bordelaise dining itinerary.
