We had a nice stay au coin du feu" in March last year. One thing I regret is not daring saying something when we left me and my friends our 3 kids to the kindergarden one day. I gave 5 diapers to the nanny for my baby and when we picked her up at the end of the day the 5 clean diapers were still in her bag. My baby had a very severely damaged skin after for 1 week

Chilli Powder ReviewAn outstanding option for parents wanting a ski holiday with a comprehensive childcare wrap. The staff are excellent and so helpful!Location. Sitting a mere 300m from the Prodains Express, which accesses Avoriaz, it can also be reached by a short walk to a button lift and short ski. You can easily ski to the rear of the building on a blue run. The bus stop for Le Pleney in Morzine is also only 150m away!Accommodation. Well maintained, clean and tidy. Towels are changed in the week, and beds are also made up. Our room (Provencal) offered sufficient storage for clothes, ski wear and a cot.Childcare. The onsite creche ran by is excellent for children who are too young for lessons, allowing parents the time to have a holiday. Our 15-month-old spent most days with the team (Aoife (head nanny), Áine and Niamh). His morning was spent upstairs playing, reading, etc. Every afternoon all the children (including the ones that come back from ski lessons) go somewhere different. If you travel with young kids and need a baby monitor. I recommend a peer-to-peer wifi-based app, e.g. baby luna; it works incredibly well. We used an iPad and iPhone. Our Kodak camera to monitor struggled to get a sufficient signal because of the brick walls and streaming to the Kodak servers was challenging at times.Food. A comprehensive continental breakfast with a daily ‘hot’ special. This offers more than enough variety across the week. Evening meal wise, the team offer a child sitting starting at 1730, well before the parents, which starts at 1945 (canapés) for 2000. The chefs offer a great variety of healthy food, including the necessary beige offerings for fussy little humans. My particular favourites were the chowder soup for the starter, the slow-cooked pork belly (with amazing crackling) and lamb shanks for mains, and the chocolate fondant for dessert. Having seen the prices in restaurants in the area, the 3-course meal offered as part of the catered option provides excellent value for money and a no-fuss approach to your holiday. Nick, the manager, offered an excellent recommendation (Le Cable) just across the road for the chef's night off.Thank you to Cosmin, Dara, Josh, Anna, Eabha, Kenna and Seamie for entertaining our son all week.

Really good quality, clean accommodation. Helpful links and connections to ski hire that comes to the hotel, recommended lessons and very easy to get to the main Prodains express cable car via a small drag lift around 20 meters away and down the slope. Ski in ski out and bus service to Morzine to explore the Morzine Les Gets ski area. Also very family friendly for us and lots of families as well as smallish quite groups there too.Loved this location as could do the main Port DS ski area as well as Le Gets. More cost effective than Avioraz for us and only 10 minutes away. Very very helpful staff / amazing welcome when we arrived helping us with our bags. Will definitely stay here again. Would be 5* for me if there was a lower cost evening meal option and there were more options for breakfast. Though the evening meal menu looked like fine dining so perhaps cost if justified.(Ultimately we got food locally across in the evening which was good enough for us - lots of options).
