Disappointing experience. Lots of freshly baked goods on trays are visible so I had hope it would be delicious. I had a pain au chocolate and a crossiant. Unfortunately not the best. The pastry was hollow with not many layers and overdone. Crispy but not soft. Nuch much chocolate in the pain au chocolate. Also very small in size! Felt ripped off.The quiche was delicious and would recommend.

Absolutely my favourite bakery I’ve ever tried! I found this place online and was delighted to see that it was a mere 3 minute walk from where my family and I were staying for our trip! As soon as you walk in, you are greeted the large assortment of baked pastries! We came here two times (I wish we went more often), once for some bread and once for some cakes. Personally I really enjoyed the bread — we got a croissant, a flan (is this considered cake?), and a custard brioche. All of them tasted amazing but the flan was out of this world! It was kind of like a somewhat stiffer pudding on top of a soft tart crust. The second time we went, we ordered a Paris Brest cake and another chocolate cake (I don’t remember the name). Both tasted very fresh and well-made!Overall this is one of the best bakeries in Paris, and a must-go for everyone in the Montmartre area!

First croissant I tried in Paris. It was buttery and flaky. I am sure all the bake goods would be good. Everything looks delicious. It was recommended by our walking tour host.

My favorite bakery in Paris!! As a pastry lover I was very excited to visit Paris, and was not disappointed. We were only there for 6 days and Pain Pain was so good we made time to go back for a second visit. Every tart, eclair, and pastry we tried were some of the best I've ever had. The incredible flavors were deep and distinctive without being overwhelming. A must visit for anyone visiting Paris

Best Croissant in Paris!!! After living in Paris for three months, I have found THE croissant. With the perfect flavor, the right crispiness. The quiche Lorraine is as well phenomenal!! I’m so happy I’ve found them and can’t wait to go back again. Thank you, Pain Pain for this beautiful experience and your hard work.

PAIN PAIN
a takeout bakery with an assortment of sweet and savory pastries. we got a slice of quiche and asked them to warm it up, which was nice since cold quiche is never great.// goat cheese and spinach quiche slice (4.44 euros) //we picked this quiche because it looked the most firm, but the inside was still a bit soggy. it also essentially only has spinach and goat cheese, so we felt like it lacked in other flavors like herbs or spices. but, it was mainly the inside texture and firmness that was a bit off to me.

Best place to begin your day in Paris. Take a cafe au lait, some croissants -best we've had, I even brought a dozen back home and everyone loved them- a baguette for your pick nick, and anything else your heart desires. We also tried the eclairs- like heaven- and hot dog baguettes. Everything was amazing and the girls at the cashier are very helpful even if you don't speak good french :-)

Amazing! One of the bast bakery I’ve ever tried. The food is made with fresh ingredients and all the products are made daily. The bread is super, baguette is soft inside and crunchy outside plus the patisserie is great as well.
