Superbe soirée ! Le cadre serait juste magnifique et le repas délicieux.Nous étions un groupe de 8 personnes et la prestation était parfaite. L’équipe était également très agréable.

We had an amazing afternoon at Chateau Guiraud! Highly recommend visiting. Had a wonderful and relaxing lunch at La Chapelle, the restaurant located at the Chateau. Afterwards, luckily they had availability for a wine tasting in the main hall. We tried one dry Bordeaux and two Sauternes from 2014 and 2020. Best part of the experience was our wine guide, Louis, who was very patient as my friend and I asked so many questions about the wine making process. Thanks again for making this visit one of the highlights of our trip to Bordeaux!

Peu accueillant. Sentiment de déranger en dépit d'un achat de 350€. Même la caisse en bois de 6 bouteilles de 1er cru n'a pas été cloutée correctement. Mieux vaut éviter ce chateau et aller directement à la maison du Sauternes où l'accueil est très sympathique. On retrouve un grand choix de Sauternes avec les explications adéquates et la possibilité de goûter plusieurs vins.

All I can say...AMAZING! We arrived at the Chateau after booking a tour but forgetting to confirm for some reason. They were so nice to accommodate us right away. Our tour guide Laurence was a rockstar!!! She was so knowledgeable in terms of explaining all the procedures they do in the vineyards but also in the winery. Then we went into tasting the wines. The Chateau Guiraud Grand Cru Classe 2015 is A GEM!!! Amazing quality/price meaning..buy as long as you can find it, but also the second cuvee Petit Guiraud was super concentrated, balanced and delicious.As a plus we got to taste the dry white they produce cuvee G". A very interesting wine

Even the shop was closed they opened the doors and explained the story . Vsry smiling faces explain you the sweet wonderful wine of Sauternes. The city is so small and there is nothing to see but the chateau guiraud deserves to visit. There is a 3 tesla/zoe type2 electrical charger as well.

Magnifique vignoble du Sauternes qui a participé cette année aux journées portes ouvertes. Une visite du chai et une dégustation de deux vins. Notre guide semblait un peu fatigué de sa longue journée mais les explications étaient convaincantes.

Un château perdu au milieu du vignoble bordelais exactement le sauternes. Nous avons pris le menu signature à 39 €. Nous étions 2 donc nous avons tout tester. En entrée, nous avons préféré les ravioles de canard sauce thaï avec un bémol le bouillon était froid. L'autre entrée était en fait une simple tomate mozzarella quoiqu'en laissait croire l'intitulé. En plat de résistance, le lieu jaune sur lit de quinoa et légumes était bon mais contrairement à d'autres couples notre pavé était mince. Le cochon noir avec sa purée était fondant à souhait mais la portion était ridiculement petite. Le dessert les fraises sauce yuzu étaient excellentes mais il y a trop peu de fraises. Le sniker était trop sucré.

Lunch in France. What a great experience and a beautiful chateaux in Sauternes. Great way to celebrate our last day of a fantastic vacation.
