As others have said: Very helpful gentleman indeed :) When I called to make an appointment he was unfortunately closing up for a 3 week holiday but he gave me some very good tips.

Fantastic service. Tony is clearly a very knowledgeable and experienced mechanic. He managed to source some LHD headlights for our RHD Subaru at a good price when no one else could. Tony fitted them, serviced the car, identified & sorted various minor problems and got the car through it’s CT - all for a very good price. Really easy straightforward communication throughout.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Visited this lovely gentleman as we had a loud noise emitting from our car. However after inspection on the ramps, it was decided that it was just loose clips, and good to go. We offered payment for his time which he refused. What a service, what a gent!!

On our way to Melle on January 30th our motorhomes EML came on and we pulled over and phoned our breakdown cover. They were absolutely useless. Once we had limped to the aire in Melle we phoned local garages and Tony was the only one that responded to our emergency. He returned our call even though he had finished work for the Christmas period. We drove down, he fixed our van at an amazing price and gave us great tips on servicing etc. Great bloke, completely honest and knowledgeable. Would totally recommend if you have troubles with your vehicle in the area.

Tony did my headlight beam deflectors, getting my RHD car through it's first CT, saving me a fortune! Tony is an absolute star and could not have been more helpful and efficient, his vast knowledge and experience is invaluable to expats like myself, thank you Tony!!

Très agréablement surpris par le professionnalisme de çe petit garagele père et le fils tienne ce garage ....deux anglais aussi sympa que pro !!!!le fils Christopher parle tes bien françaisaprès avoir laissé mon range rover dans d autres garages ( comme à angouleme pour ne pas les siter )personnes trouver les pannes sur ma voiture.... alors on me parle de ce petit garage à melleran le mecano anglais et fils...... donc j y laisse ma voiture .....et la on me trouve la panne et on me l'a répare avec grand professionnalisme. ......en me fesant un devis correctje recommande vivement ce petit garage il réppart tous type de véhiculemerci encore à Christopher le jeune garagiste pour sa gentillessedu coup j irai plus ailleurs ...loin de moi les gros concessionnaires qui ne pense qu a la rentabilitémerci encore pour votre accueil et professionnalismeà bientôt les mecano anglais

Absolutely amazing garage. Broke down on holiday in France from UK, got a potentially incorrect diagnosis from a French garage with an extortionate quote ... this garage went above and beyond to help us and very resourceful and trustworthy, sourcing much cheaper part costs and helping in any way they could. Very grateful and absolutely recommend!

After over a year (!!!) of trying to reregister my UK car in France I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel, thanks to Tony. Professional, efficient, and extremely helpful. Excellent service, especially if you're looking for someone to work on a car from the UK.He replaced my car's brake discs and pads and made sure my headlights conformed to French standards before taking it for its contre-visite. All before midday!Well worth the trip from Paris, just wish I'd found him sooner!

Thank goodness I've found an honest reliable and fair mechanic in Chris Eyre. Has put himself out to keep me on the road and no overcharging because I'm English! Highly recommend him. A1 and 100%!
