Alamo Rent A Car

Whilst Alamo may be a reputable company elsewhere in the world - it is not in France! Unfortunately, all of those negative reviews are true.If Alamo tries to scam you and charge you for car damage you are not responsible for (which is exactly what happened to me) this is how to react:1. Get in touch with your credit card company and dispute the charges as fraud. According to European law, a rental car company has to prove with evidence that you are responsible for the damage. The credit card company will take care of the communication and if the car rental cannot provide any evidence, you'll get your money back.2. Block the credit card you used at Alamo! Otherwise they will try and charge you again as soon as they realise they are loosing the case.The better option of course is to avoid this company in the first place.

Absolutely horrible experience - they scam their customers systematically with false allegations of car damage!

Aucune information pertinente lors de la location de voiture sur vos Broker" que vous gerez très mal ou ne contrôlez pas du tout.Mais le plus important ce n'est pas la satisfaction client

Before renting a car with Alamo/Enterprise (it's the same company): Do some research on the internet! You will find that Alamo/Enterprise is scaming their customers in a systematic way (there are hundreds of similar reports). Unfortunately, I'm also one their victims. I'm still trying to get my money back, but they do not even respond to my messages - I don't know what to do :(

Des touristes arrivent à l’agence Álamo à Annemasse pour récupérer un véhicule réservée sur une plate-forme et payé - arrivés au guichet on leur signale qu’il y a bien une réservation à ce nom sur son listing de réservation mais pas de véhicule disponible - Apres plusieurs minutes de discussions pour essayer de trouver un véhicule la personne au guichet nous signale qu’il ne veut plus nous parler et qu’il n’est pas capable de nous faire une confirmation comme quoi nous avons pas récupéré un véhicule ( pour essayer de ce faire rembourser par la plate-forme)Ces agences travaillent avec des plates-formes et dès qu’il y a un problème ils ne veulent rien savoir et disent qu’il faut aller voir avec la plate-forme de locationLoueur de véhicule à éviter absolument sur Annemasse et encore plus le personnel incompétent et irrespectueux des touristes qui viennent dans la régionPour info cette agence et le personnel vivent grâce au tourisme

Contrairement aux autres avis j’ai eu une bonne expérience avec Alamo Annemasse qui eux ont été super arrangeant et flexible au niveau des horaires. J’ai rendu la voiture à 18h10 alors que la fermeture de l’agence se fait à 18h. Ils ont bien voulu attendre mon arrivé sans problème. Je remercie toute l’équipe et notamment Alexandre qui a su être à l’écoute lors de la mise en location et lors de la récupération du véhicule. Équipe dynamique et au top je recommande les yeux fermés!!!

Malhonnêteté, ferme aux horaires d'ouvertures, désagréable et j'en passe

We had one of the worst customer service experiences ever at the Alamo Annemasse branch. Everything had gone fine but upon returning our car we had forgotten to take out our passports from the glove compartment. Unfortunately, we only realised this as we were about to leave for the airport. Completely our mistake of course and the only thing we could ask for is some help in retrieving them.We immediately contacted the Annemasse branch to ask them if they had found it or whether the car was still there. The gentleman told us the car had already been rented out again and they had not found the passports when handing over the car.This is when customer service went to an all-time low. The gentleman acknowledged that this was a problem but made it felt that it really wasn't his problem". Yes he would try to call the person renting our old car and yes he could send him a text message as well. However
