This place is absolutely disgusting and as a bonus they even robbed me of my caution on my way out. Sure, the views are nice but not worth going up and down the annoying hill should you need anything like going to university or shopping and when Grenoble itself is really flat. There are squatting toilets that are annoying but what I just find straight up disgusting is the fact that from Friday morning until Monday noon they are NOT CLEANED.There is one kitchen for each 50 rooms where they install 8 cooking plates out of which already at installation only 2 work!!?Not mentioning everyone leaving trash in the kitchen and throwing things like egg shells out of the window. Generally throwing trash out of the window seems like a hobby to some inhabitants making the place look more like a dump than university accommodation.Instead of going for the cheapest accommodation, go and get CAF (student financial support), that way you get a much better residence closer to university for basically the same price, sometimes even cheaper!! And if you want the views go for a nice walk to the Bastille.

Great View of the city. Great facilities. Just a little distance from the city center. When u miss a bus you need to climb the hill

I know that the beautiful view of the alps and the low price seem appealing, but this residence is absolutely horrifying. Think again, it is cheap for a reason.The buildings are old and in bad condition. The position is ridiculous (you will have to climb for at least half an hour, in winter, and possibly a few times with luggage).Turkish toilets" are not even produced in Turkey anymore

Je viens de quitter la résidence, je ne sais toujours pas comment la décrire,Perchée sur la montagne, la vue est géniale, il n'y a quasiment que des étrangers car le CROUS donne les Appartements dans le centre aux Français, il y a donc une mixité super, pleins de culture, ce qui donne aussi lieu a un choc culturel perturbant, surtout pour la cuisine commune où certain.es sont à l'aise à laisser des choses trainer,Il y a un bus qui y monte mais pas souvent, et franchement faire une montre de 20 min à chaque fois ça exclut vraiment du centre-ville,J'aimerais que le Crous s'en occupe mais la résidence va être fermée dans quelques années,En soit c'est un beau microcosme soit on en tombe amoureux, soit la saleté et l'exclusion de tout vous fait fuir

I am spending a great time in this residence. Is one of the best ones. It is true that the rooms or the kitchens are not very big, and we have to walk uphill 10 minutes for getting here, but the life here is very good. People is really nice, there are many parties, we have a bar that opens on Fridays and Wednesdays, views are great, I have gone many times to la Bastille at night with friends after the bar... I wouldn't go to another residence if I could.Concerning about the installations and this stuff, I would say that kitchen are correct, rooms too, showers not so good but we can manage. About the famous toilets, a hole in the floor, in my case I have no problem, I am totally used to it and I really don't care. I just had to accept the humiliation of taking a dump squat jejej.There is also a small indoors football/volleyball/basketball field, a small library and a gym.Finally, I would say that the going up to Rabot is not so bad, you really get used to it, and most of the times you can take the bus (40). In fact, the residence is quite near to downtown, where is almost everything for hanging out, while there are some residence that you have to walk 30min for arriving at the center of the city.

Seulement quelques jours mais c’est une des meilleures expériences de ma vie. Belle vue, habitants gentils, super climat,... J’aime le fait de pouvoir regarder le dortoir en face depuis la fenêtre :>>> As tave myliu ❤️

Le prix est vraiment très petit et la vue est top. Mais les qualités s'arrent là. Le toilette turc c'est insalubre. Les fonctionnaire de l'accuiel ne sont pas particulerment sympas. L'eau de la salle de bain se refroid tout le temps. Et pour utiliser la laverie il y a un système de réservation d'horaire et partage de la clef... Il y a bien sûr de gents que sont là et même aiment Le Rabot, mais je penses que pour la plus part c'est une question d'argent. Si Le Rabot est la seul option du Crous que tu a, mais tu a les moyent, tu peux rester là pendant le temps que tu cherche un coloc.

Résidence sympathique, le nécessaire y est. Le plus : une asso dynamique, une vue magnifique et une passion partagée pour la randonnée et les ascensions en vélo.Dans l'idéal, ce serait bien de la rénover un peu avec de nouvelles portes de chambres isolantes pour contenir les décibels de mes joyeux compagnons, lors de leurs longues conversations de 19h à 22h dans la cuisine ou le couloir.Le rêve : un téléphérique pour nous remonter le soir (avec nos vélos) depuis la Presqu'île.
