Renaud Martin has been the most helpful advisor I have found, in the US or in France. My husband died unexpectedly last year, and the inheritance of his share of our French property was more complicated than expected. I was very stressed and emailed Renaud constantly with questions, which he always answered very promptly and patiently. He explained what was happening and encouraged me throughout the process, which was finally completed after nearly a year!

Absolutely brilliant. I am French, but have lived in the UK all my life. After my mum's death, it truly was not easy to deal with French nonsense called legal matters. I struggled a lot and then someone recommended Renaud, or should I say Maitre Martin. He was fantastic and very quickly has become indispensable sorting out impots who still thought that taxing my dead mother for the last 2 years was a good idea no matter what I told them, sorting out a french will for me, etc etc... Maitre is very knowledgeable, very efficient and will act in your best interests. He is also trying to get back some overpaid taxes that my previous notaire shrugged off as a 'so what' attitude only too common in this profession. With Maitre you will know the fixed charge before he starts any work, the likely outcome and a time scale and he will save you a lot of time, and effort. His communication is fast and clear. He speaks fluent English (still a rare thing) which my wife and stepchildren will be grateful for if something should ever happen to me and I just dont know where I would be without him. 10 stars out of 5!!!
