A word of caution regarding DoYouBuzzI have been a customer since 2015. My premium subscription is expiring in a few days (Dec 2018).As a startup, DoYouBuzz was initially quite accommodating, affordable and responsive when they first launched, which surprised me as they are based in France and accordingly, I did not expect a customer-centric service.However, to my surprise, at the onset, they replied to inquiries in a timely manner, offered a one-year premium subscription option.Fast forward to 2018....Like most startups do once they gain some momentum and digital traction, they lose their initial focus and eagerness to please:Now, you have to commit to a TWO-year subscription if you want to renew the premium service, requiring a payment of ... $65.00Additionally, whether you are a premium member or just use the free basic service, it does not matter. The French have their own concept of customer service.... I sent an email on Sunday for a promo code to alleviate the cost of the renewal. They replied on ........Thursday and declined to extend a promo code to an established loyal customer.Side note: I am a native of France myself, but have been an intentional resident of the US for over 30 years.
