I found Barry by searching for good reviews in Basel. I called him in desperation after receiving terrible service. I had seen another hairstylist asking for some subtle highlights to rid of the winter dull and instead received patchy orange blonde zebra highlights. My hair is naturally brown. My desperation was both because I was horrified to be seen in public and having an overseas trip in 3 days (now 2 days). He met with me immediately to better understand the problem then found time outside of normal work hours to fix. I’m absolutely amazed with his work. Not only did he reverse the damage, he gave me exactly what I was initially looking for. I am forever grateful and highly recommend his service and professionalism.

I always went to Barry when we lived in Basel years ago and was so happy to see him when we recently moved back! Not only is he a great artist, achieving a style that makes me happy and is easy to work with every day, but he always offers a warm welcome and great conversation. Simply the best salon experience!

Barry is extremely talented and I can say I had the best haircut of my life (and I’m not young)! My hair is now easy to style, the exact length I like and full of body. Simply excellent experience and result!

Barry is a very talented hairdresser and one of the best in Basel! After moving here, it took me a long time to find someone that I could trust with highlights/color/cut. I had a number of disappointments before finding Barry. He easily understood what I was looking for and always delivers. I have never been happier with my hair and despite highlighting for years, he actually found a way to improve the overall health of my hair. Also, Barry is just a really lovely person. I would highly recommend!

It’s always a great experience to have a haircut from Barry! He is an expert of hair, likes to try new hairstyles but doesn’t push for his ideas, always respects my wishes and ideas :)I can just recommend him ;)

Barry is a great person and excellent hairdresser. I prefer natural look and easy maintenance but whatever is your wish he will listen and provide exactly what you agree on with him. War gestern das erste Mal bei Barry Cook zum Haare schneiden.Werde auf jeden Fall wieder hingehen. Toller Schnitt! Bei meinen dünnen Haaren sehr wichtig. Sind jetzt schnell frisiertzum Ausgehen. Barry hat eine sehr interessante Persönlichkeit. Haben uns sehr gut unterhalten.

Barry is the only salon in Basel you should get your hair done at ! I have never trusted my hair with anyone else and he does exceptional job ! He is very professional, fast and he listens what you exactly want and gets your highlights and cut as you like them . He is the number one in the city .

I had my haircut done by Katie recently and I can't say anything but how nice it was! She payed a lot of attention to the process and has a great energy. I left feeling just great! After 2 years of unsuccessful haircuts I feel relieved to find a place like Hair Design by Barry. Thanks a lot!

Fantastic service I always vome away very satisfied with my usual hair cut and colour! Barry is very talented pays attention to my hair needs and offers good tips on hair maintenance. I always feel welcome looked after and I hugely trust him in looking after my hair. Highly recommend him.
