Une petite école avec quelques élèves, ce qui rend les instructeurs très disponibles pour les cours et répondre aux questions des étudiants. Le nouveau bâtiment est sympathique et avec les nouveaux équipements il fera bon y apprendre à piloter.

I trained here from September 2021-May 2023, as the ATO was transitioning from Luxembourg to Avignon. The transition there was smooth and, from my perspective as a student, not particularly noticeable.The facilities in Avignon are lovely and regularly improving. As I was leaving, they were setting up a brand new FNPT.Although accommodation is not provided, it was not difficult to find. I would recommend bringing your own car if possible but the Avignon transport network is good enough that you wouldn’t necessarily need one.The single engine flying is on PA28, and the multi engine flying on a PA34. Both planes are a pleasure to fly and I was able to see a wide range of airports, by the sea and in the mountains. My instructor, Michel, is highly experienced and I had a blast with him. I really enjoyed my time there.While no ATO is without its faults, any issues were dealt with promptly and professionally. Because the operation is relatively small, anything that needs to be raised can be done so directly. François was always attentive and helpful, as was Anne in the accounting department.I was even fortunate enough to see a display by the Patrouille de France!
