We visited in April 2015 as part of our pilgrimage to Gallipoli for the Centenary celebrations. We visited my husband's Great uncle's grave and are very appreciative of the care taken for all the soldier's graves

This particular First World War grave site is an amazing testimony of what happened when brave young hero’s set off to a foreign land to encounter the worst that man can be.Here lie two Victoria Cross recipients R.M., Beatham, and A. E., Gaby who’s bravery and valour ensured others could live to fight another day

Visited my great uncle, Patrick Joseph Hatton's, grave with much emotion. The cemetery has been meticulously maintained and it was wonderful and very moving to finally appreciate where and when he died during World War 1 on 23rd August 1918. Such a waste of human life that hits so close to home even though it happened half way around the planet from our home. Lest we forget. Tim and Jenny Hatton.
