What can I say about Vanessa and Mountian Weddings. Two of my best friends got married out in Morzine and I was the photographer for the day and Vanessa was INCREDIBLE!!!I've worked with so many wedding planners in my career, but I've never seen anyone give the bride and groom so much attention, help, joy, fun and laughter - I know that our couple absolutely loved having Vanessa around at their wedding, and professionally, I can't recommend her highly enough. So easy to work with and nothing was too much trouble.If you're at all tempted by an uber-cool wedding in an amazing location that will be waaaay more than a standard wedding, Vanessa is the person who will make it happen. Simply, book her - Don't think twice!!!

A new company but oh my god I couldn’t fault them. Our dream was a wedding in the Alps and we would not have even got close to making this happen without Vanessa and the Mountains Wedding team. Our wedding weekend was everything we wanted and more. From our first Zoom meeting, Vanessa made us feel at ease in an event planning world that neither of us knew anything about! Nothing was ever too big a challenge and the seemingly impossible was a breeze for the Mountains wedding team. Vanessa always had the perfect balance of support and inspiration but always listened to what we wanted; she was always on the end of the phone at any time of day.One of the most important things for us about having Mountain Weddings organise our wedding was being able to relax and enjoy that special time with our family and friends, both in the lead up to the wedding as well as on the day itself. We cannot recommend Mountain Weddings enough and the fun and laughter that was had by those closest to us that weekend is enough proof for us. Thank you!

We had the most incredible wedding, all of our dreams came true and more. It was the most magical day full of so much love and happiness for us and our guests.I can't recommend Mountain Weddings enough, they're amazing. I never thought I'd have a wedding planner and now can't imagine how I could have ever done this without them.Planning a wedding abroad with family flying in from across the world and during COVID could have been super stressful but it was honestly such a breeze with Mountain Weddings. The entire team is so lovely and fun to work with. Anything we thought of, Vanessa found for us and immediately put us at ease. She completely understood our vision and did everything to make it happen. We wanted to get married on a lake in the mountains and we couldn't have asked for better. We worked with the best suppliers - the venue was fantastic, the food was delicious, band and DJ were super fun, hair and makeup were perfect and the flowers were gorgeous. Started the day with sunrise yoga, al fresco dining and dancing, and ended with insane fireworks over the lake. The whole wedding week was perfect- we were able to spend quality time with our guests ahead of the wedding and went hiking, white water rafting and had pre-wedding fondue with everyone. We had so much free time to relax and welcome our guests as everything else was taken care of by Vanessa, Francesca or Olivia.I can't say enough good things, I wish we could have our wedding all over again just so we could keep working together. I'll be dreaming of these moments forever.Everything was seamless, beautiful and just a pure joy all around. I have so much love and respect for Vanessa, she's incredible and makes dreams come true x

The girls at Mountain Weddings are sent from heaven! After stumbling across their Instagram account (must have been fate - my partner and I met in Morzine 5 years ago on holiday but never dreamed we could get married there!) we got in touch with Vanessa on the off chance, honestly thinking it would simply be too much to organise a wedding abroad. HOW wrong I could have been. From the first phone call with Vanessa, she made me feel so at ease, comfortable and that no detail was too small.. She is wonderful. From then on in, the whole process was just amazing and I wouldn't have changed a single thing. Everyone says their wedding day was the best day of their life but, I honestly still can't even believe how perfect it was. The girls really do leave no stone unturned, thank you both of you. Will and I got engaged in the pandemic and so looking for somewhere to get married abroad was a bit of a minefield. We wanted something a bit different, and somewhere we could take our closest friends and family to relax for a few days.We had been recommended Mountain Weddings by our very talented friends at HBA Photography (see attached photos) who said “You should speak to Vanessa, she’s amazing!”.Our first meeting was over Zoom. Vanessa immediately made us feel at ease and she was just so genuine and kind.Despite some anxieties about booking a venue and wedding company we had never seen or met, we took a chance, and we could not have made a better decision.All the way through and up to the wedding Vanessa was always willing to answer any questions we had, and right up until making our final decision to go ahead with an international wedding just at the end of the lockdown restrictions Vanessa put us first above her business or agenda.Arriving at Hotel Du Lac was like a dream come true. We had no expectations, but to be there was enough. This beautiful place that we had seen on pictures and videos was even more beautiful in real life.Vanessa made our whole experience better than we could have ever imagined. Every small detail was taken care of and nothing was a bother. As “the bride” I had absolutely no worries on the day or the lead up, these were taken from me. Our guests were also made to feel very special and everyone had the most amazing time.While I may have had reservations on having a “wedding planner” before getting married, I now recommend it to everyone! Vanessa is not just any wedding planner though, she is unique. Her whole team were wonderful in every way and we were made to feel like the king and queen!I feel so lucky to have found Mountain Weddings and taken a chance during a stressful time. If only we could do it all over again…

When we began the journey of planning our wedding, we knew that being in the mountains during winter had to happen. After lots of searching we stumbled across Mountain Weddings and it was the best thing we could have ever done.Vanessa and Francesca are two of the most lovely ladies you will ever meet, and put us at ease right away.It takes a lot of trust to plan a wedding abroad, and these two made that journey effortless and full of joy. From fireworks, to menu requests, helping us organise transfers from guests coming from all over the globe - these ladies made everything we wanted happen and everything was so effortless and seamless.They had a brilliant balance of support (for our endless hand made decor) and suggestions (too many brilliant ones to list)We have made friends for life and wouldn't have it any other way.

James and I recently got married in Tuscany and it was the best time of our lives thanks to Vanessa and her team! Being located in the US, Vanessa made planning a destination wedding as stress free as possible. She is transparent, responsive and truly caring when it comes to her clients. She did a fantastic job helping us choose our amazing venue, Borgo Stomennano, which can be hard going back and forth long distance while waiting for venues to respond. Her team was also great at doing site visits and food tastings and providing EIGHT pages of detailed notes on the food - truly amazing. She will go above and beyond for your wedding. An additional note, I loved that Vanessa and her Italian counterpart, Francesca, wore matching pink pants for the wedding! Adorable!! Our photographer who came recommended by Vanessa, Verity Taylor Littler, was amazing as well! We love Vanessa and her team and couldn't recommend them enough!
