French In Paris - French lessons in Paris

I have been working with Isabelle for a little over a year now, and I can confidently say she is a fantastic language teacher and a breeze to work with. She is very accommodating and flexible when trying to fit lessons into busy schedules.

Isabelle is a fabulous and patient teacher! She was able to provide engaging on-line one on one sessions, customizing content and material I needed to work on to further my French language skills.

I was thrilled when I found Isabelle, I have a great love for France, its culture and language and have always wanted to really learn it properly. I could never find a teacher that was great until I found Isabelle. She is outstanding, patient, and organized. She encourages me all the time and really knows how to teach the language, she takes her time and really works on the fundamentals, pronunciation and understanding. From the first moment I met Isabelle at the beginning of our Paris sabbatical, I knew that we could not have found a more appropriate teacher. She was easily able to understand our expectations, and to set realistic goals that were achievable. Her teaching style is exemplary. My husband and I met with Isabelle 6 days a week for 5 weeks and our two-hour lesson would fly by every day. I must also say that Isabelle is an extraordinarily intelligent and witty person, and we enjoyed every minute that we spent with her. I have attempted French language lessons several times over the years from different French speakers. None compared to Isabelle in making the learning of the language fun and helping us feel like we did really make notable progress. My husband and I were amazed with what we had actually learned under the tutelage of Isabelle. We have retained what we have learned because of her teaching style. In reality, Isabelle became the anchor to our stay in Paris. My husband continues to try to formulate his questions and sentences in French. As for me, I am planning to return to Paris to continue my French lessons with Isabelle.

I have been working with Isabelle since 2016 and love my French teacher! I took nine years of French in grade school and high school, but my skills were very rusty! Isabelle met me where I was. We worked together in Paris for a few weeks in the summer of 2016 and have continued on Skype for the last five years. She has been slowly and diligently and patiently helping me improve my language skills and my cultural understanding of the language and the people. I highly recommend her services!
